exactly! although theres fuck all parties around winter..well there were a few but I missed them Summer has around one a week but that usually requires a lot of hitching to middle of nowhere locations where you might not be welcome anyway..still though..theyre fucking fun

 

Theres no snow! This year was the first time we got snow since 1996, well our town anyway. Theres loads of wind surfing, surfing, kite surfing...fuckloads of water stuff which is great..shame the waters cold enough to make raisins out of nuts though

 

UGH i pay wayyyyy to fucking much for my place. It is a 4 bedroom apartment and there are 4 girls and we pay 2,800 a month plus utilities. it sucks, but then again i live downtown chicago on the 19th floor over looking the city. its kinda worth it

That really is a pretty decent price for the city. My friend Okshay has the dankest deal on the nicest apartment I've been in in Chicago. He pays 1500 for a 4 bedroom apartment (incl utilities) in a nice ass area about 10 minutes from downtown. I have no idea how he got that deal, my other friends pay the same for a 3 bedroom, not including utilities, in a completely mexican side of Chicago haha.

 

We do bulk shopping at Costco and Sams to help out ALOT! I buy all my meat and produce there. As well as many other items. I grow produce / herbs during the summer and freeze or dry, as well as buy bulk and freeze. I hunt and fish every year, I havent' bought beef in over 7 years... We have a freezer full of moose or caribou all the time. I try to get as much fowl to freeze during the summer also. Learn to live off the land... It saves alot of money!

I love halibut, I can catch a whole bunch and feed not only my family, but all of my families family too. Catch 5 80 pounders in a trip, along with the variety of other fish you get and that's a successful trip There have been many years that I fished all summer and sold fresh fish to locally owned restraunts by the pound, I made alot of extra cash that year and stocked the deep freeze full.

 

I personally would stay on campus if I were you, I have a feeling you living on your lonesome wouldn't turn out toooo wellll...
