That coffeehouse keeps a music school running, provides scholarship funds for low income students, and the cafe itself hosts open jams, open mic nights and provides a venue for traveling performers who can't quite fill the 95 seat spot upstairs.

I believe that many people get in touch with the spirit beyond them through music.
To me, and many of the people at the cafe, music is sacred, community bonding, and generally a damn good reason to get out of bed in the morning.

DM.. this sounds like an awesome place and what they are doing for the community is wonderful.. we need more places like these..... I love my books.. but I think ppl should go beyond their books and actully start Living their lives expreiencing all the wonderment the life holds for us. Books are very one dementional...It's your mind that takes you places.. Did he mean that Colorado does not need music?? That it conflicts with nature or something.. In mop I think music complements nature.. Bright Blessings sh
