You cannot compare modern French people with the Celts of Gaul because there are two major yet very important differences. The Celts of Gaul used soap and the Celts of Gaul went out fighting. Modern French people do neither.

I have no other opinion as to the personal hygeine of modern French people.

i was in new york city a year ago...i still think paris is far dirtier...
i wonder how a parisian would fair in NYC?...it seemed the parisians, would turn their nose up at you, not help you,and talk about what an american pigdog you are...thats just my experiance...a new yorker...will help you out...but if they dont like you, they'll stomp you just as soon look at you...i fear a parisian, would not fair well...i fear a street sweeper would clean a frenchman sized stain off the road...

 

i know you have a french girlfriend. this is just about joking and teasing and enjoying stereotypes, much like all the poeple who love to rile up the americans with "i hate americans" and "every american is fat and uneducated." and "canada is a frozen wasteland where everyone wears flannel and denim to their weddings" blah blah blah.

 

oh, what's that saying? "smellier than a chain smoking french truck driver?" EW!!

Sooo, I dunno. NYC was pretty cool too. If I had to rate, really had to, was forced to, Paris is nicer. free cous cous, 15 euros for carrying an old ladies wine and shop keepers always greeting me and some even coming out to ask if they could help me while I was simply window shopping.

 

I know it is a joke, haha, sometimes a certain topic just gets me a little riled. No hard feelings. I like Boston and NYC too, but Paris was pretty darn cool too. I think all cities are dirty really.

 

Trust me on this one... just about anything that bird posts is to be taken with a grain of salt.
