Yea, just the way the correct term for a screwdriver is "fastening tool". Screwdriver was one of the first brand names for the tool. The same as "vise grip" for the locking plyers. But I don't think I'll ever ask someone to pass me the locking plyers, or a flat head fastening tool.

I totally agree. I find it hard to call disc golf, disc golf and not frisbee golf also. And I'm certainly not the dork who insists on calling american soccer "Football". I also know a lot of other useless facts, but generally keep them to myself.
the important thing is, we all know wtf we r talking about wen we say frisbee, or disc, or round hippy thing that flies...we all know... ive never played frisbee golf, i got a free disc wen i was at this festival but never got to use it...i dont like how there are mad different frisbee's u need or that someones not on the other end catching it and sending it back...means i gotta walk
oh man i love playing frisbee golf. its the best. ever since i moved down to florida it's been hard to find a course nearby plus to find the frisbes to use. but it's going to be even harder to find any courses when i move to georgia. this blows. oh well. frisbee golf rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive never heard of Frisbee golf, I guess you toss the frisbee then try to hit it with a golf ball.. ?? Any way, I love to play around with frisbee i have an orange one with an opening in the center... couple of mates and I take it down to the beach every new years and fool around for hours trying diferent ways to catch it.. always on alcohol and pot heheheh but that goes without saying here in the forums !!
frisbee golf has 18 holes just like golf and the point of the game is to try and get the frisbee into the "chinger" in the least amount of throws as possible. it's pretty much just like golf but instead of a club and ball your using a frisbee which there is an aray of different types sizes weights etc. so much fun.
a frisbee can b considered a hard plastic plate cant it? those things are heavy and painful, not that ive ever hit anyone with em, cus u cant have a catch with them...
favorite frisbee story, im at this festival in maine, and im tossing the frisbee with these guys, not once but three times do we nearly hit this girl in the head...thanx to my amazing grabs it was less than an inch away from her head, the third time it actually touched her hair...she just kept sitting there, indian style staring at the stage, didnt move a muscle once...after three times i said fuck it and walked away...
