I absolutely agree with you there. You've summed it up perfectly. I may write that out and stick it to my mirror. I feel dehumanized, bitter and lonely.

 

Silly name calling makes you childish and immature. Clearly not grown up enough to comprehend this situation. You don't have to approve but you do need to be civil.

Never had a FB situation,but I would think that if there's ANY complications--it's not really working. Wouldn't it make sense in that kind of relationship to completely ignore each others outside lives and just concentrate on the moments together without discussing much else except the sexual encounter? Worrying about ANYTHING other than the stated purpose of being a FB --the sex--seems counter intuitive to me. I'm not commenting on the rightness or wrongness of this situation--just the purpose.

 

Maybe fuck buddies aren't supposed to make sense. Usually, at best, it's a temporary and transient situation. I think you just have to enjoy whatever you get, for as long as you can get it. Then move on.

 

I've just re-read this thread. I think it's a bit of a shame that calgirl asks for help and receives gratuitous abuse and vitriol. Frankly, none of us fully comprehend what she is going through, and perhaps-just perhaps-this is the best way she can find to cope with a sad and unfortunate situation.

I don't necessarily condone infidelity. But then again, I don't condone violence, even though I have taught karate for many years, and would defend myself in an instant if I were threatened or attacked. I don't condone stealing, but there are many instances I can envisage where people might steal for an altruistic purpose (think Robin Hood) or from necessity.

And so on.

Calgirl, none of us have walked a mile in your shoes. You are the one who must ultimately answer to your own conscience. I wish you all the luck you can have in doing so.

As far as answering your question goes, I'd be a bit harder on your FB. Don't be so readily available. Don't get jerked around by him. You're an attractive woman, and for you men will be a dime a dozen, if you choose to move on and find a new outlet for your sexual and intimate needs.

If you are with that bastard at this time. If he gets mad at you giving him a text message , you dont need him . desert rat .
