i drink like one or two sodas a day.

 

i used to drink more pop when i was younger...if there is pop that i like in my possession though it will be gone before too long.

fortunately i dont buy pop too often

I love soda. I can't understand why some people don't. There's only 3000 flavor varieties and it taste like fucking heaven. Refreshing too! I mean, I know it's not a very healthy beverage, but fuck it, right? There's far worse things you could be doing to your body than drinking a nice soda from time to time.

I honestly call it different things. Well, mostly I just variate between 'coke' and 'soda'. That's probably because I grew up in the south but now live in the north. I never call it pop. I hate when people call it pop.

 

generally the south calls all soft drinks 'Coke'
the midwest is where 'pop' comes from
'soda' is generally seen as from being up north and coasts

Well, down here in Alabama, everyone calls every type of "soda" a Coke

ex,

Me:"Hey bra, you want something to drink?"
Friend: "Yea, sure what you got?"
Me: " There is green tea in the pantry and some cokes in the fridge"
Friend: " What kind?"
Me: "Sprite, Coke, Mountain Dew, and Dr. Pepper."
Friend: " Mountain Dew sounds good bra, thanks!"

Hehe, last year i went up to New York for new years! while i was up there it would go like this at resteraunts.

Waitor: "Hello my name is, (insert useless lowlife here) can i take your drink order?"
Me: "Yea do you have coke?"
Waitor: "Yessir we do!"
Me: "What kinds?"
Waitor: "uhm... the coke kind?"
Me: "DUMBASS YANKEE!"

i called it pop as a kid, but have called it soda for a long time, since poP and poT sound familiar...i don't wanna get them mixed up
calling all soda "coke" seems kinda stupid to me
but i am a dumb yankee

either way i don't drink much of it either
i usually only have it at school events, they always have cans of soda so i'll grab a barq's root beer
i mostly drink water
or juice
when i buy a drink at the convenience store...it's a tea or sobe or something like that

 

straight up coconut milk?
my GF cooks with that stuff and it is pretty thick. and like 50% of a days worth of fat..

 

Sparkling water is a great sub for soda pop.
It tastes like soda but it has no sugar.

i noticed this in the south.. when i was in arkansas i asked them what they had and they were like "coke... orange coke.. etc".. i never noticed this in the northern states..

 

I love pop. Luckily I am over my 5 year addiction of a minimum of 36 cans of diet coke a week , and now only have a pop occasionally. Usually my consumption of pop simultaneously coincides with my consumption of alcohol , so this week I have had a lot of pop . The most refreshing pop like drink I have had in awhile was this Sunkist Sparkling Lemonade. Carbonated lemonade is ridiculously good lol.

 

ive been drinking pop as long as i can remember, dont drink near enough water as i should, i drink no milk, only pop.

Some people don't like it or doesn't like to drink it often because its nothing but sugar and they are never goood for you... They compared it to liquid candy.....
