Are we supposed to recognize him by sound? I have no clue man. I did play Morrowind a lot but not Oblivion. Fallout 3 neither.
no, they used the same character model; face, body, voice, etc. in all the different games. Has to be somebody that works for Bethesda or connected with them all these years. Once you recognize him, you will see him all over and hear his voice used for different characters.
Glad you necroed this, never posted in it and I played a lot of Skyrim. I'm always evil in games where it's possible to be evil, and have done most of the quests. When I get bored I invade cities and kill everyone. Too bad they made certain NPCs invulnerable, but fortunately, there are mods to change such stupidity! With Dawnstar, I laid waste to 4 or 5 cities in order to max my vampire skill tree. The good thing about that is you obtain no bounty! It was a bit easy though; my first playthrough I killed the final boss in a single dual-wielding combo on the highest difficulty.. Apart from just wreaking havoc on the land, there are plenty of really good random encounters to do. Morrowind was the best of the TES series IMO. The atmosphere was excellent, gameplay, everything was awesome. With mods I hear it's even graphically satisfying today. Oh, and Oblivion sucked hard.
You played them all on the pc? I started morrowind on the pc but later played it on the first xbox. I bought Skyrim for the xbox360 and skipped all dlc as usual... I can't pick a favourite, they both excell in different things.
I played them all on the PC yeah. Both Morrowind and Skyrim are made so much better with mods, which are unavailable for the xbox version.. Oblivion is pretty rubbish regardless (Although I still spent an unreasonable amount of time playing it ) I much prefer playing on PC, for a variety of reasons, but one good reason is that you don't necessarily have to pay for the DLCs I've been wanting to get Morrowind again and get all the top mods, but I'm worried that it will take over my life once again
. Hahaha yeah I play Skyrim for aaaaages, stop playing forget how awesome it is, then decide to just quickly play for 10 min and get totally addicted again hahahaha
I stopped playing this because I was in a part where I had to take some jerk into a castle and he gives me a potion, or I find it, and I go into a dream and it's all very blurry but aftert his dream and when I come out of it, if I save or auto save my game freezes every damn fucking time. I've given up, it's been months and months and months. I guess I might try again when I'm over it and not to that side mission. Maybe it'll sort itself out.
Sounds like a bug. Maybe get your xbox on the internet so it automatically downloads any updates when you start up the game. This helped me to get rid of some re-appearing bugs of this game. I always play offline normally. Otherwise I hope you have an older savegame Where did you get this potion? In the tavern in Whiterun? That starts a really fun sidequest that takes you to a lot of different places after you wake up
I do recall it was a fairly long sidequest (because it takes you allover the map) and of course one that started unexpectedly. That pissed me off slightly of at the start I think. But anyway you can go on another quest in between at pretty much any given time (unless there's a save problem ) I remember receiving (voluntarily by choosing for it in the conversation options) a certain magical ring from a prisoner in the Falkreath jail. The consequences were... unexpected
I just finished that quest, and no it's not the one with the daedra, Asmo. It's called "Waking Nightmare" and you have to take a potion to cross a barrier that you can only cross in a dream and you are another person in the dream. It's not a main storyline quest, so if you have a save prior to going into the dream, just skip it. I have no issues with that one, but I'm on a PC.
This happened to me as well! Now I just walk around with that potion on my character and an unfinished quest. I was thinking about giving it another try and seeing if it has worked itself out in the last couple of software updates.
WooHoo! Newegg had Skyrim Legendary Edition (contains all the extra DLC) on sale and my friend bought me a copy! Gonna get rid of the bootleg version I've been running and install the whole kit and caboodle later today.
I play on the PS3, too bad because some of the PC mods seem pretty cool. There is no way my computer could handle it though.
Same here, the pc version with all the graphic mods looks tempting but my pc couldn't handle it neither. But the graphics are rarely disturbing on the 360, except the nearby snow sometimes, you can count the pixels. It makes Windhelm the least nice looking city, that's for sure. But overall I don't pity playing in on the console at all!
Yeah man, the convenience of console gaming suits me great  Granted, i've been told i could do the same on a pc (with a 360 controller, and my pc is already connected to my tv) but I would first need a new pc for that
I'm curious, how is it playing a game like this with a game pad? There are so many things that are geared for keyboard/mouse control that I don't think a controller would offer as much freedom and potential complexity as you get from a keyboard/mouse setup, at least not in my experience.
