I haven't been able to access all of hippiehillbilly's pics yet, but thanks so much for the ones posted here! And soaringeagle, thanks SO much for the beautiful gift of the pic folder you posted (i just downloaded) on 'yousendit'. I feel the love.
For those of you who don't know the story, the stilted sister whose behind is depicted below asked USFS if it was cool for to wear the patch. They said "No, a USFS patch is Guvmint Property, and if you get caught with one, it's stolen Guvmint Property". So she sez "OK, if they want it badly enough, they can take it". I was ticketed for a USFS patch at Michigan '02, for which I had traded a joint. I guess getting caught with the joint would have been worse? Just a warning ticket, anyway. And the bastards stole my patch. Lovin' ya, Mi! Whoo Hoo! My 420th post!
this year i actualy watched a fs guy cut the patch off his uniform & trade it for about 5 beads.. his mother requested he try to trade for some beads she uses to make jewlery..& all the brother was willing toi trade for was the fs psatch.. but even more amazing was in utah or cali i watched a trafde with a gun tating leo.. who was actualy the captian, or police ceif or something...he traded his badge! (they only get 1 & have to sign theyre lifeaway & swear to never allow it to fall into anyones hands..so he must have decided to quite after the gathering) it wasa good trade, he traded for like this bone african cheiftans breastplate like thing.. the brother offered to trade everything else n his blanket for the gun, saying he'd dismantle it & turn the parts into art.. but he didnt go for that (not that anyone thught he might..but that would have been cool)
haha, so I fibbed, soaringeagle. You do have me in one of your photographs...Joe spotted me in pic number 99 in your gallery. I'm in the background near the elbow of the brother in the white t-shirt. Looks like I have my American flag bikini top on
