Well - when it comes down to it - I've got nothing against - 'the Phil' - when I used to work in a factory, you always knew at the end of a long boring, stressful week that it was Friday because during the afternoon this likeable fat speccy kid who was happily married and never likely to leave that place cos he was like part of the furniture used to put on phils 'best of' album really loud and for some strange reason it became like a warm middle of the road kind of snug friend. And I'd always nod and wink at him and say 'well - you can't beat a bit of phil'.And then we'd all go off on our own ways through the industrial estate into the last rays of the autumn sunshine, personall knowing that later on I'd be off my trolley in a club somwhere to something loud, fast and furious If they were to reunite now and play wembly arena I'm sure it'd be a sell out - and anyways there would probably be a guest appearance from Pete, unless he's above all that now. Just as a matter of curiousity - Rick Wakeman was on tv all last week on a tame british quiz show called countdown.Yes are one of those bands who people argue about witch was the best line up too I often wonder if Steve Vai ever plays any Zappa.Anyway - I'm going off topic also :drummer:
