One of the things that troubled me about Bush last fall was that he seemed like a different person in each of the three debates. He was irritable in one, hyper in another, and looked like he was on pain killers in the last one. It doesn't give me a secure feeling when I see someone who appears unstable like that.

Whoever is running the Bush administration sure loves Hollywood productions. They try to use it to cover up the mistakes and lack of intelligence. The 'Mission Accomplished' routine out in San Diego is a good example. They were at it again at the State of the Union address with the Iraqi voter sitting next to Laura Bush. It was no accident that the Iraqi election was scheduled 3 days before Bush's State of the Union speech. For a moment there, I thought he was going to have a sign hanging over him that said, 'Election Accomplished!'

dude, i agree completely. if his daddy wasn't who he was, he'd be nowhere. he sounds like such a dumbass when he tries to act smart. it's because of his name, that's the only reason he's gotten anywhere.

    Nope. I don't think we y'all can say E N V Y, but I think we can say I D I O T.

For those of us not "C" students, I guess the best I can hope for is becoming a Senator or Congressman. Does this mean Dropouts are doomed to be Lobbyists?
If true, then this explains a lot about our Government.

The great thing about Bush is that anyone can look at him and say, "At least I'm not that dumb." It gives a person a feeling of superiority. :)

Personally as long as the president is a republican i couldn't give 2 shits about how intelligent he is. Now Bill Clinton was by no means a brilliant linguist either nor was he exceptionally intelligent overall, but that doesn't stop most of you from sucking his rod.

And it's not just Bush. Look at some of the job listings, like "we are a satalight company" (I hope they can program better for "satalights" than they can spell them) or "local candidates will only be considered." (If I'm not a local candidate, does that mean I might get hired, in addition to "only be[ing] considered"?)

But clinton was far more intelligent than bush... he graduated from law school, and was a brilliant linguist

I did find some places in his book, however, where I could have done a more thorough job of editing his punctuation. Nevertheless, I find that to be the case in most books I read. The comma is the most misused of all punctuation, and even though English was never my specialty, I remember most of the rules—not that I always practice them.

Clinton wasn't intelligent at all. He was a good president because on economic issues, he neevr did anything! He wasn't a talented speaker at all, Bob Dole for all the comic value that he gave us was probably a better speaker.

Most honkys vote republican because we like money and are good at making it.

Why are you still here then? You're a big boy. Move.

If I thought I was surrounded by dumb people, I would move, so you have no excuse. Unless you're in college or something of that matter.
