RIP George Carlin... comedy will not be the same without you

 

At least he did a lot of funny stuff that will be remembered forever.

this is really sad... i love carlin's comedy, cause it really makes you think, and it totally pokes fun at humans and our rediculosities. he was one of those people who i really believe incarnated here just to stretch people, and help people question why we do things the fucked up way we do them. may he be partying on wherever he is right now!

 

Woke up Monday morning to have that be the first thing I hear....like Immediately when I woke up...from my father. I was shocked....until today I was able to shed quite a few tears over it watching some reruns of his HBO specials. He truly was my first real hero. At an early age I got into him and was exposed to some interesting and amusing thoughts. Kinda helped me bring out who I really was. A couple years ago I was obsessed with his book When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops. Honestly my FAVORITE entertainer. This christmas I my father gave me his DVD boxset.

Many good times watching Carlin high as balls and nearly dying from laughter. Sad.
