To be fair, they were asking me for more information about myself ... and I was just trying to respond with a friendly "Hold yer horses and let me get my profile posted ..." I fear I may have to stop using the e-mail address I used when setting it up, though ...
Another way of viewing it is that if we keep clicking the ads (so COSTING the advertised site promoters money) without ever doing anything that GENERATES INCOME for the advertised site providers, THEY will eventually decide that this means fo advertising is ineffective and stop doing it. Meantime, we get the site that we're all addicted to paid for by the people who run these sites. Hmmmm ... it still stinks as a business model, doesn't it??
