Well at first I had a friend cut them. Unfortunately she decided to do her own thing and cut my dreads about 3-4 inches long and sort of undercut them at my ears. So I looked like some trippy 90's raver. My girlfriend, most disgusted, then cut the rest off. So my hair did get pretty short, but it's on its way back now. It's starting to get soft again, which was one thing I missed. I wish I could have saved my long hair, but it would have been far too arduous and the hair way pretty unhealthy anyways.
