Girls, are musicians hot?

It usually seems like girls have a thing for the guy who sits around outside and plays acoustic guitar just to show off. I always thought that was really lame and refused to play the guitar even though I had sort of a knack for it because I didn't wanna be that guy. Nice to see that some people, like Greengirl, don't seem to like that kind thing.

 

Definitely, but only the ones who play music because they love music. Some aren't the most attractive people (in the superficial sense of the word), but when you are able to see such blatant passion in their playing, they're beautiful and desirable without even trying.

The ones who play simply to get girls are lame, and I can't imagine their music is very interesting or inspired either.

Yeah, as a guy I think girl drummers are really cool. If I had a band it would be totally awesome to have a girl drummer.

Yeah, that's true. But I would have to say that most guys are into it for the attention or possible fame rather than the music. At least the ones I've seen.

 

Hell...I just retired a few years back from 26 years in the music biz , and the guys in the band had no trouble getting girls.
Had the girls KNOWN them....it would have been a whole different story !

Musicians (and artists in general) are like the most attractive men in the world (for me). But honestly, none of my relationships with musicians lasted longer than a few nights

but a major turn off when their life is the band and they have no time for you.

I am TOTALLY attracted to guys if they are in a band... singer, guitarist, bass player... drummer I'm a little iffy on. My last bf was a drummer and it was a bullshit relationship, so I have a bit of an association.
