read the hobbit as the dwarves gather in bilbos house it becomes a throng , and slowly we increase till we shall be a throng

The correct plural for a gathering of dwarfs is a throng of dwarfs and the bears inform me that simular would apply to uk hipforumers at glastonbury

You need to contact Skip immediately about this idea. I would SO buy a pair of Hipforums boxers.

I could do a TheFly and show them to everyone at Beautiful Days :D

I heard from Bokonon the other day, he hasn't got the internet at the moment, but he texted me to say he'll be coming to Glasto. [IMG]

Yeah he is, he's bringing a mate too. The line-up's the worst I've ever seen. A few bands I'd quite like to see, a couple of must sees, but mostly meh. I've decided this year I'm gonna sit in a field and make clogs....

Holy shit, that's a sodding awful lineup. I think there's not one band in there I'd pay to see. Not one.
Shame on you Glastonbury, shame on you.

    the Fratellis,
    KT Tunstall,
    Kate Nash
    We Are Scientists
    the Hoosiers
    Newton Faulkner
    Alphabeat
    Seth Lakeman
    The Verve
And I'm sure The Levellers said they were playing The Left Field stage!!

I think I'd be OK to a point, none are real favourites (bar Newton) but I could deal with it. Better line up last year!

Looking through the thread it sounds like there's loads of us hipforumers going:) This is going to be great:D

I'm quite glad the line-up is so uninspiring, means I won't be tempted to go running off trying to fight my way through to music stages as much and can spend more time sitting in (hopefully dry) fields... Even so there will doubtless be loads of unexpectedly interesting things going on to discover as you wander randomly about, like always:)

this has probably been mentioned, but the line up for leftfield looks amaaazing! fuck the main stages i'd just be there for the whole festival.

People you might (read 'really should') know:
    Pie Tasters
    King Blues
    The Slackers
    Pama International
    The Levellers
Mungos Hi Fi Vs Don Letts Dub Cartel
    Neck
    Neville Staple
    Alabama 3
    Beans on Toast
    Frank Turner
    Seasick Steve
Left Field Rally With Tony Benn
Nick Doody – Get Up Stand Up
    Marcus Brigstocke
    Tony Benn
    The Beat
    Bluetones
    Dirty Pretty Things
    Billy Bragg
    British Sea Power

that's a pretty impressive group of bands there, and that's probably only a quarter.
