Polar bears can swim for hundreds of miles. Those who use pictures of them "stranded" on icebergs to somehow promote their argument are playing on your ignorance. It is pure propaganda with nothing substantive behind it.

I think global warming as it pushed by the establishment is a hoax -- a total lie. I don't even believe the earth is warming the way they say it is, and even if it is, it is perfectly natural for the planet to go through warming cycles. Antarctic ice core sample prove this. They also prove that C02 levels have NOTHING to do with warming, since C02 levels have shown to lag behind temperature increases.

So yeah, global warming is a LIE used to push global taxation, enforce global regulations, and eventually a global carbon tax paid to the central bankers who want to bankrupt the planet. It's also used to enforce changes in how we live, what we can consume, where we can travel, etc. This all goes hand-in-glove with what is outlined in the United Nations' AGENDA 21.

Sorry, but global warming is a total farce, which is not to say there are not REAL environmental problems, because there are. Most of these problems are caused by the same elite who want offer solutions to the problems which they say humans are to blame for.

Oh yeah, and Al Gore is a total piece of shit, as is his buddy from Canada, Mr. Maurice Strong. These charlatans make it all so blatantly clear just who and what is behind the global warming scare.

I think a proportion of adult polar bears can swim for miles upon miles. Hundreds of miles even.
I do not think that is the case for all of them.
A younger polar bear would struggle.
The further they have to swim the more energy they use.
Constantly swimming for miles upon miles can't be a positive step for their survival.
So I think a stranded somewhat helpless polar bear image is ok in reflecting the precarious nature of their existence.
However, it does tend to pull at the ol' heart strings - much like a starving child in Africa with flies buzzing around.
It doesn't change the fact that there is a huge issue in Africa, and thousands of children die of malnutrition every month.

Of the 19 recognized polar bear subpopulations, eight are declining, three are stable, one is increasing, and seven have insufficient data, as of 2009.

    Is that fair?

So what does it have to do with "global warming"? It probably has to do with a number of factors.

I think there was a rush to presume the earth is warming. That might have been an omission rather than a lie. I think 'climate change' is very real, and isn't a lie.

All this conspiracy about Agenda 21 seems to be an deliberate falsification of it's remit. Or just certain people not knowing that much about it.

Do share your intricate knowledge of Agenda 21.

    Thanks.

Ice melts, doesn't it? If the temp' is rising due to a depletion of the ozone - there must be a reason the ozone depleted. I wouldn't put that down to a natural variation. I could be wrong. I have not read about a historic flux with regards to the ozone.

A polar bear might be able to swim for more than 100 miles but how many times could they do that huh? And after they done that they surely have to hunt to gain energy again so they have to be lucky that the solid ground/ice they finally got to after such a swim holds something to eat. It's a fact the ice on the northpole is retreating and that most polar bears are going to have to struggle only harder. Since I'm also not convinced about the origin 100% I often like to seperate these issues a bit cause these polar bears ARE really getting it more difficult this way. They rarely had to swim 100 miles in the past. I agree such pictures play with people emotions, but that does not make it a nonissue naturally.

Sounds like an up to date bandname, I surely have heard worse :p
I was not talking about internet alone but mainly irl, actually about everywhere around me. I heard skeptical sounds about global warming and stuff more in the 90's than now.

the only reason anyone denies global warming, is because they imagine themselves somehow to be getting something out of a bunch of arrogant bastards selling village idiots on becoming dependent on oil, coal and nuclear.

Why should he reply? He reads and reads and puts the big picture together.. all you did was speculate that only some polar bears can swim hundreds of miles and that ice melts. Lol wtf Odon?

I asked him to explain Agenda 21.

'Do share your intricate knowledge of Agenda 21.'

It was slightly incongruous, I admit.

It's easy to paint a big picture - it's harder to point out the finer detail.

Doubts About Global Warming Many Years Ago When The Media Decided

To Run With It, And Given Time I Will Be Proved Correct...:).

Ever Since The Earth Was Formed It Has Gone Through Cycles, And

The Same Scientists That Are Behind All This Bulldust Are Fully

That's because he is smarter than you. Some things you just need to figure out for yourself, or, oh well.

And I don't mean that as an insult. He's smarter than me too.

you do realise that "scientists" aren't a single, homogenised group of "those who do science", with a single set of skills (microscope use, white coat wearing etc.) . you can't just tell a climate scientist to go and research AIDs vaccines, the disciplines are slightly different...
