'Globalisation' is good

Right. We're fucking this planet alright. Humans as a whole are not mature enought to take care of the Earth, so imagine other planets...

 

You should change that to "it helps poor nations grow"

MNC = Multi national corporation? That's a guess.
I think globalization could be a good thing if we retained provincial rulers and a degree of political hierarchy similar to what we have today, or perhaps a universal political model which some great minds would have to think up. Essentially the United Nations, all nations represented, and with an equal vote, as the government of our world.

War would be eliminated, famine and poverty could be too. If we could control such things as a species instead of quarrel over scraps, we wouldn't need to expand intergalactically for quite some time.

 

Don't worry, globalization is coming sooner then you think!

 

When corporations squeeze, the common people feel the pinch. Globalization benefits the rich and screws everybody else.

The company that I work for has a program that encourages people to find ways to send US jobs overseas. They actually expect us to get excited and celebrate when jobs go to India/Elsewhere... Sickening, we'll get emails telling us to celebrate with a casual dress day and all that bullshit. Makes me ashamed to work for them when it's brought up in conversation.

 

Wow, gd. That has to suck. I'd be ashamed and sickened under those circumstances as well.

 

In 100 years, the East will be the West and the West will look like Eastern Europe, the really shitty parts, if they keep this crap up. We're all doomed!
