David Koresh was psychotic. I would hope that people are sensible to recognize that not all people who call themselves Christian are like him, just as not all Muslims are terrorists.

Wasn't it three nails? Not that it matters. [IMG]

Anyhoo...Heaven and Hell are institutions created and maintained in existence by god. If he chose to, he could do away with hell and everyone could go to heaven. 'Cause he's all powerful. That was what I was getting at.

Ha Ha. I knew this topic would be funny and full of shit when I saw who started it.

Amber is just upset she is a cousin fucking, southern white trash.

Oh wait, that's verbal abuse, but atleast it's not condeming people to an eternity of "pain" (because of course hell is a physical place right), aswell as speaking on behalf of her "god".

    Bye

RE: God won't put you there. Showing in life that you want nothing to do with Christ/The Lord, you'll receive the exact same in the afterlife. You reap what you sow.

    How about this?

I don't believe that God is a murdering, evil, eternally torturing weasel who keeps changing the rules and revealing himself capriciously, deliberately screwing around with people and condeming them.

I believe that all the evil, rot, pain and suffering here is OUR fault and when we go on to the next world if we meet those responsible it'll be in a realm where we don't have to compete for everything and can therefore chill out.

I will, if I am ever in front of a Great White Throne and am asked to account as to why I didn't buy stock in Jesus Incorporated will simply say that the book was filled with contradictions, the messengers were evil and corrupt, and the overall message was that God was an utter bastard.

That whatever love I had for whatever I could not comprehend was absolute and that my belief was in a god of love, wonder and truth who was above all the petty human crap ascribed to him.

If there was any error in my thinking it was wanting to believe in love and happiness, not evil and damnation.

And that even by the Bible's definition God can change his mind either way and any way anyway.

Nazi Germany's concentration camps were built and destroyed within less than a decade. I call that something amazing for a country that had taken over the majority of Europe

God is all powerful, but he is also all Good. He must be truthful and fair to all people, and held to His word, even if it means being fair to Satan (God does not lie)

When God says, "He that doesn't believe in Christ shall be damned" Mark 16:16, and you die without believing, Satan will say, "Give me him, he died without believing" or something to that extent. God has to be fair to Satan. He can't go back on his word or contradict himself because He is all good.

When anyone comes up and says, "The bible contradicts itself", it is because they look in the Old Testament, find something, and then go to the new testament, and find something different. The Old Testament is obsolete now, just like old laws will contradict new laws in any country in the world.

However mates, there are no contradictions in the bible.

By the bible's definition, no He can't.

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever."Isaiah 40:8

"...having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever...."1 Peter 1:23

Interesting beliefs, but they are not biblical.
