I threw away all of my bras. My mom got mad at me though. I've never really liked them. They're too confining.

I never wore one until I was mid 20's. I found in the working world too many creepy guys talking to my chest. And as I have gotten older, they (and the rest of me) have gotten bigger and in need of some restraint. Hahahahaha.

You just gotta stick up for your rights and your freedoms. Obviously if you threw away your bras, your mother cant do much about besides go out and buy some more and I doubt she would waste the money if she knew you wouldnt wear them or would just throw them away again. Its your body, if you dont wanna go wearing a bra then that is your choice and your mother shouldnt be able to make you do otherwise.

my girlfriend hasn't worn one since sometime in high school, and i have always found that really attractive. i respect it too, cuz it goes along with the fact that she's never really cared about her appearance, as far as what losers think of her. yeah...i never used to think about it, but after being with her for almost 2 years, bras don't seem natural to me anymore.

I wear sports bras most of the time. Underwires are so uncomfortable...usually I don't go braless, though. It feels rather strange.

    Honestly, I haven't worn one since I was a teen. I don't have a whole lot to support :(

Oh, and as for things "sticking out"... well... I don't mind :) Sometimes, I can use them to point things out to people :)

Awwwwww, thats alright, im sure what you do have looks great and is special in its own way. You dont have to have some overly big breasts just to look great or be a great person anyways. You just need to be yourself and everything else will take care of itself soon enough. :)

    Thanks, that's really nice :)

Honestly, I don't think I'd want big boobs... then I'd *have* to wear a bra *yech*.

Besides if you had big boobs you just wouldnt be how you are now and it seems like your pretty special just the way you are so I think its good that you have the body you do. :) Big boobs would just get in the way anyways.

    Interesting historical "titbit:"

Modern bras are a comparatively recent phenomonon, patented 1914.

They were then considered scandalous. they lifted and accentuated the breasts. No proper lady would wear one.

actually, the bra is the decendant of the corset.
in the 1500's women wore steel cage corsets
in the 1700's women wore whalebone corsets
in the 1800's women wore half-boned corsets
in the 1900's the corset got reduced to a girdle and then to a bra.

Various forms of breast support existed long before the 1500s, but the 1914 bra I referred to (originally two handkerchiefs) was developed specifically as an alternative to the corset.

Must be nice....but when your like me, especially with the big boobs then you need the support and it sucks. I wish mine would shrink or something.

When I wear my sarong as a tie-around shirt or dress I don't wear bras because my whole back is exposed so the bra showing is weird....I like feeling so free, so i do it more in summer :)

You should be grateful for being well endowed, like I am grateful for being well endowed.
