    I've won the retarded reward?

By the way, if you read the rest of what I typed you'd realize what context I used the term "gay" in. "happy catchy chorus..." Yeah, now who's the retard?

do you remember a guy that's been
    in such an early song
i heard a rumour from ground control
oh no, don't say it's true
they got a message from the action man
i'm happy hope you're happy too
i've loved all i've needed love
    sordid details following

the shrieking of nothing is killing
just pictures of jap girls in synthesis
and i ain't got no money and and i ain't got no hair
but i'm hoping to kick but the planet is glowing aglow aglow
ashes to ashes funk to funky
we know major tom's a junky
    strung out on heaven's high
    hitting an all time low
time and again i tell myself
    i'll stay clean tonight
but the little green wheels are following me
    oh no not again
i'm stuck with a valuable friend
i'm happy hope you're happy too
    one flash of light
    but no smoking pistol
    i've never done good things
    i've never done bad things
i never did anything out of the blue
want an axe to break the ice
want to come down right now

Thats nice, ziggy. Way to support your argument.

Waste of time. I've proved my point and you can't offer a rebuttle as there can be none, the quality of music released in the 80s speaks for itself, regardless of what you choose to believe.

Pfft. I haven't taken shots at your spelling as I realize that english isn't your first language, but now I will take a shot at your logic, as there should be no handicap on that.

You chose one artist from my list of in excess of 30 artists and said that because (in your opinion) this artist made better music prior to "this" release, your words still stand? That is quite laughable.

You walked into the party like you were walking onto a yacht
Your hat strategically dipped below one eye
    Your scarf it was apricot
You had one eye in the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte
And all the girls dreamed that they'd be your partner
    They'd be your partner, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
    Don't you? Don't You?

You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
    Clouds in my coffee, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
    Don't you? Don't You? Don't You?

I had some dreams they were clouds in my coffee
    Clouds in my coffee, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
    Don't you? Don't You?

Well I hear you went up to Saratoga and your horse naturally won
Then you flew your lear jet up to Nova Scotia
To see the total eclipse of the sun
Well you're where you should be all the time
And when you're not you're with
Some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend
Wife from a close friend, and...

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, I'll bet you think this song is about you
    Don't you? Don't You? Don't you?

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you

You re out of your mind man...
I m not discoverin the 80s just yesterday

-Motorhead are far better from 77 to 82
-Motley Crue most honnest and punk record is his their 1st from 81 i think ... before they re typical calfornian ego exploted...
-Van Halen were at the top from 78 to 81 (4 albums!)
-Ozzy Osbourne was better in the begining with Randy Rhoads playin guitar (80-81)
-Dio was at his best with Rainbow(75-78) with Black Sabbath (80-82) and his
-1st lp with his band Dio was his most transgressive & his best (83)
-70-75 Cooper lp are clearly this best...
-Def Leppard two first 80 & 81 lps were less commercial & more heavy...led zep influ.
-Maiden...at the begining was most violent than their future stuff
    etc...

All early 80s hard rock was influenced by the still hot Punk movement... when punk was long time gone...they became less violent - often older - more commercial & less influ. by their classic 70s influences & fathers of rock ...

If you like mid 80s MTV sponsored hard rock... it s your prob man
but mmmhhh ok there clearly some good things later in the 80s but its far far to be general my general

Motorhead may have been "better" on Ace of Spades, but there's no denying what they released throughout the 80's.

Van Halen's 1984 is one of their most successful albums. Care to guess what year that came out?

Motley Crue's earliest stuff sucks balls, they're best on their mid-late 80's releases. Girls Girls Girls, anyone?

Jake E Lee and Zakk are both awesome guitarists, who you like more is very opinionated, randy became overly popular due to his death, as it is with any dead musician.

Dio might have released Holy Diver in 83, but Last in line, Sacred heart and dream evil were released through the rest of the decade. Last in line > Holy diver in my opinion. What he did in other bands is just that, other bands.

I've said it before, old alice cooper is crap in comparison to Trash.

def leppard were never heavy, never good, but they were quite popular in the mid 80s.

Maiden were at their heaviest in the early 80s, very nwobhm, but their biggest and most well known albums were released after 1983.

Im not surprised that you didn't mention Metallica, Megadeth, Guns N Roses, or Skid Row.

Beyond that, they dropped all the cheesy annoying backup vocals with all the little "doo wop dee doo" style crap parts.

I've known all along that you know nothing. You wish for people to believe that after 83' the music went down hill, the thought in itself is so fucking stupid that I have a hard time grasping the idea that some people seriously believe that. I wouldn't expect anything else from someone with a username such as yours however.

I've just been told that I know nothing by someone who doesn't know to start a sentence with a capital letter, is unaware that there is a word for the past-tense of convince, and puts spaces before periods. Mmm Hmm...

What the hell were your last three posts all about?

Are you fighting the system to make your posts even more fucked up?

    Metal = Music.
