You gotta repeat what the other persons saying, then add a big fat BUT dot dot dot and then top it off with a "Ya know"? Doesn't work on the internet, but sure as hell works in real life lmao. Yeah I know what you're saying man.... But you gotta consider ... X Y Z ... ya know!!? Then they'll be like wow man. Deep sigh followed by a long pause. Yeah, you're right. I can't believe I've never looked at it like that before, Who the the hell.... did I think I was kidding..?!

 

Repeating with the word "and" is a good tactic as well.

 

I guess comedy is a good tool in debates.

Oh well, unoriginality is rife in debate too.

 

Yeah the funnier one is usually more appealing than Mr Serious, then you can just be like alright man... chill out.. Alright Alright you're right dude.

 

A debate is no where near telling as an intimate discussion.

 

I predominantly reserve the funny odon for the ladies.
