Good time to start

Im only 15 now but ive been smoking since the age of 14 and a half and Im a good student. I still get good grades in school but i probably smoke more then i should, for me marijuana has not got in the way of my life but it HAS changed it. I think of the changes as positive changes as I started to really appreciate this world around and treat nature with alot more respect and such. I do kind of regret starting smoking weed at a young age as it is really amazing and i dont want to stop! but if you feel your ready i say go for it but if your not sure i'd say leave it until you know your ready

I think maturity and experience are important in smoking weed. Otherwise you don't appreciate it and it can take advantage of you. Everything in Moderation. Personally, I did not try smoking weed until my late 20's and I did not pick it up as a habbit of daily or regular smoking until I was like 35 or 36. I am not saying that you need to wait that long but I think that being 18 is the best time. If it were ever regulated I think the legal age would be 21 like liquor. However, I don't know a lot of people who did not start drinking liquor until they were 21. Education is the key, learning everything you can about weed will give you a better understanding of what you are about to get yourself into. It's not for everyone. Good Luck.

i first smoked at 14 and the next time i smoked was 15 and that is when i started to smoke more frequently. i also made it a point to not smoke much during the school year - maybe on holiday breaks or a long weekend.

only you can really decide if you are down for it - you have to honestly ask yourself if you think you could handle temptation and juggle school with pot if you choose to do both at the same time...

if you do start - just dont be smoking all the time, 14 is still young and with more time you will become more familiar with your body - in which case you can determine whether smoking weed is good or bad for you. you shouldn't be in a rush to try all these new substances you will surely discover either, you have your entire life to experiment

and trust me its real easy to leave school behind when you start smoking morer

 

i started at fourteen right after eighth grade was up and im not going to introduce my brother until hes the same age. in my judgement you'll be fine if you dont overdo it.

 

15 is a great time to start, but there's no time like the present. 14 is all gravy, toke away baby

 

Only you can truly know when you're ready. Me, I got in somewhat late at 17, but it worked well for me. I was always a straight A student and made a 31 on my ACT. I will say that I don't think it would have affected my grades if I had decided to start earlier, but that depends on the individual. If you feel that you may let is consume all of your time and thoughts, then I would say wait.

 

20. And that was a brilliant age.
Remember, you don't want this stuff to get old. How fun will getting high be when you're 22, 23 if you start when you're 14?
