I'm going to try and alert some of the local alternative publications about Goodstock. I'm going to be there, just as soon as I come up with the money (probably next week), and I'm hoping to write about the experience. I'm going to talk to some people just as soon as my ticket is reserved and see if they will publish anything. If not, I can do something with it.

    Really looking forward to this.

BTW, is there any chance that Country Joe McDonald will be able to be there? I know he's performing at the Isle of Wright festival in June.

Wasteland.. Country Joe as far as I know will not be at Goodstock so his manager told me a few weeks ago, prioir engagements. Of course that may change and Joe may just be there.. I cant say yes or no. Goodstock is growing so large that bands/managers/agents have taken another look at Goodstock and want to be part of it, rearranging scheduels.

I want to thank you for the energy, it's a blessing to see ones like you, doing something positive, it's in the doing that things get done.

    Bright Blessings

I hope it grows larger than anticipated, really.

One thing I am looking forward to is seeing the band schedules and hoping that some of the bands release a set list.

    The excitement is building already.

It is great to know that we are going to hear and meet some of these legends, but it makes it so much more special to me to know that we will share the same stage as some of them.

    :) - How sweet it is ...

Libertine, I gotcha, tis cool... We are in need of some RV motor homes, busses, stepup vans, ect, for dressing rooms, equiptment storage ect. We gotta bus but the motor is shot in it, we would never make it that far esp up mountains, we live 1,000 miles away.

If any of yas have something we could sure use it, and for the use of it you will be in the backstage area with the bands wooohooo, now there's a nice trade. Let me know if you want to do that.

We're gonna have a good time, see you there

I talked to Larry yesterday, we are still needing some RV type things to use for office space, dressings rooms ect. Ya know but I will remind you, that if you let goodstock use your stuff you will be privie toall the happenins' backstage, where all the bands will be. Think of all the autographed posters/flyers you could scroe backstage and pictures too.

I know you hippies out there got some shit you could help out with..we're not asking you for money just the use of your camper, even a popup would be coo, some tents big enough to stand up in would work well also.. Lets get togther and get this done folks.
    (story)
we have a popup, it's an old 72 model, my hubby got it for clearing off some property a while back. I abosolutely fell in love with it even tho it was a little tattered. We would drag it down to the lake when we'd go on our fishing expiditions. The only thing wrong with it was it wouldn't pop down so we couldn't take it too far.

I had plans to turn it into a Gyspy Wagon and sell my products out of it, but my hubby had other ideas. Lynn wanted to use it at the Deer Camp, so to the deer camp it went, as I stood on the porch waving goodbye to a little dream I had, I let out a wistfull sigh knowing it would have a good home nestled in the woods and make life a little eaiser on Lynn.

Lynn broke his back in 85 in the Oil Fields and has several surgeries on his back and two surgeries on his right shoulder. It's very uncomfortable for him to sit in a treestand for hours at a time. With the popup he can sit in comfort and wait for the deer to come to him.

Now he's the funny part, Lynn decided to build a porch onto the popup so he starts building, he builds and builds and then he's done. He steps back to eye his creation and lo' n behold he had inclosed the whole popup and built a cabin around it, so when you walk into the cabin you see the little popup there nestled safely in it's womb.

It's way cool. The cabin has a potbelly stove in it, a three tiered bunk two recliners in front of the two big slide up windows looking out onto the meadow. There's a 6ft formica counter on one side along the west wall and windows surrounding for easy viewing of the land.. I will get some pictures and post them in my gallery soon.

Well back to Goodstock..gathering up RVs campers ect just brought that story to mind.. so we need some campers folks, busses .. give me a holler if ya have something, you will be compensated.

    Brightest Blessings

Starla Wrote: There are parts of our usa that has a pretty rough time with their economy, WV is one of these places. There are so many great possibilities with Goodstock.

Goodstock just getz gooder n' gooder.. and what Starla said; it is a shot in the arm for West Virginia, they need and deserve a boost just like anyone else that is economically hurting. Starla is also right touching upon; this will open new horizons where events like Goodstock continue and grow into a powerful force here in our wonderful Country. To help those that need help while giving back the power to the people to be creative. Spreading Good and taking Stock in our lives! dayum man.. i get carried away...hehe ..

It's cool to get carried away with something so beneficial to so many aspects of helping many things in many ways with just showing up.. ya don't have to protest, or sign up for anything, all ya have to do is be there and that's enough to make a difference. It's the very coolest thing to do. Everyone benefits, you for getting to be part of Goodstock, the community getting revenure, the leos to a minimal bc we are have no corporate involvement. We all live happily ever after

I'm calling out to anyone that is interested in helping with passsing out Flyers, contacting your local radio, internet mags, online radio stations and get the word out about Goodstock. This is our only advertisment is word of mouth. That's how we keep your tickets prices down so low folks so please take a few minutes and help out.

You can download the flyers at www.goodstock2007.com B&W is fine.. Place them in local collages, laundry mats, music stores, large functions, tack them on telephone poles.. use your imagination. It will be fun. If everyone places just a few it will help.

Thanks to everyone that has bought their Advanced Tickets (still on sale)

    Bright Blessings

If anyone is in the area of Summersville, we are looking for a couple of golf carts and deck charis, we're thinking golf carts are less intimidating the ATVs.

Hope to see you all there

I'm going to print out a couple of flyers and pass them out at an anti-war rally I'm attending this weekend.

BTW, I'm hoping that when I'm at Goodstock, I can get some interviews with some people. I'm wanting to write about the event, and I need to know whether or not I will need to find someone to sponsor me a press pass. I'm currently in talks with the Knoxville Voice, one of our local free papers, and it would help me a lot to know.

Wasteland, I'm not sure about press passes at this time, but I do know a lot of the bands will be available for interviews.

Larry, Artie and 90% of the bands will be giving interviews, I did a radio interview a few weeks ago on Goodstock. I'm sure interviewing Larry, Artie and the bands would be way more interesting to listen to :) Everyones already heard what I have to say about GS.

We need people to print out those flyers and pass them around, get the word out. This is your Festival.

Charleston WV is the closest big town to Summersville. I'm sure you can hitch a ride with some kind travelers to The Good Evening Ranch, I'm almost positive that there will be a local bus from Charleston to Summersville.

We are working on rideshare, when the time gets closer more people will be going to GS and I'm sure there will be a place for you.

Brightest BLessings Penny Lane see you there
