I wonder if Trump is in disguise and on a train to Russia hoping to relax and have a few bottles of vodka with Putin. Hopefully they wont get their smartphones out and start playing space invaders, without realizing that they are launching nuclear missiles everywhere. Perhaps we should warn him. Do you know his HF username.
I don't totally disagree with you there bud. What about travel for business? Sometimes we fly round trip in the same day..
It depends on the details what I think about it. What business, which function, what purpose etc. The frequency of course. I also acknowledge here that it isn't always by the employees choice. I don't blame every person for not being utterly principal and resign their job because they have to fly too much. In some cases we could though.
I actually have felt guilty about the amount of flying we do for work. But it is to build energy efficient facilities, rebuild infrastructure and so forth, thereby offsetting it further than someone who doesn't fly at all. So whatever. And vacation is vacation. People need to chill out. I'd be curious to see how much less of an impact trains make in comparison, I doubt much at all.
I've just got back from a visit to Prague. It's a beautiful city built along the Vltava river. We saw the castle and cathedral, the famous cobbled footbridge, went to the Reduta jazz club and saw Tosca at the National Theatre. Being English, the two questions I was asked most were "Large beer?" and "One more beer?"
Hey @YouFreeMe I recommend Inspired Beginners podcast if you're looking to brush up on some spanish before your trip, it's on youtube and done by this cute couple living in Madrid. They teach a lot of colloquial spanish specific to Madrid
It's where a lot of spaghetti westerns were filmed as well. You can still find wooden filmsets of old west towns :-D
