I agree with most people in this thread- if its art and not some dumbass crew filled with a bunch of punks who cant spray (trip to eclipse), then I am totally cool with it.

Some of the things I've seen are jaw-dropping. But here in Buffalo, good grafitti is practically extinct. Right now its pretty much been reduced to a bunch of "crips" spraying their name on the side of the Kwiki-Mart.

Also, if my shit gets grafitti'd, it is totally UNCOOL. State owned and public property ONLY. Otherwise, I will hunt down those bastards...

 

90% of it is crap. Also you should not do that to anyone else's property.

 

The coolest graffiti ever was in britain: "I have seen the fnords."

 

my town has a shitload of train tracks going right through the middle of it.. and if i'm ever down by the train tracks there's always trains with graffiti on them..
most times its just gang related shit, but if its not, its really pretty and really awesome looking.

I rarely do large complicated stencils..mostly small and to the point, so i can move out fast. cops are really tight on the tagging here, theres been a huge outbreak of tagging "groups" or whatever..mostly ignorant kids who tag their even more ignorant names on the sides of mcdonalds and shit..giving real taggers such a bad name...i do it by myself, or with my boyfriend.

tagging is pathetic and is nothing more then Vandalism, i'm curious to see your stencils...

well i sketch graff myself, not on walls tho, just random sketches on paper/w/e. i aint hardcore enough to do it on public buildings, trains or buses. personally im into art, and i consider it art- i think bubbly writing isnt it. i just dont think writing it on other peoples property is a good way of expression
