At least I'm not shy about talking to people who have problems with me. Sticking your head in the sand and pointing fingers never helped anyone.

It's funny how you thought I was referring to you.I stated no names.
I was in fact referring to those people who have gone off-topic on this thread
    - but I guess you feel it applicable to yourself.
In respect of the quote of mine. I'm take it you are directing your comment to me?
What is your question? if you let me know specifically, what it is? I will try to enlighten you :)

Lolz. Is it really me being obnoxious?

Or, is there just a 99% chance he had to look up where it is

That is, obnoxious sure, but still probably corrrect ;)

    Eritrea profile

Ethiopia invades Eritrea in 1962. 57 years later, the leader of Ethiopia gets a peace prize for peace efforts with a country that wanted its own independance after WWII and they invaded ?????

from the teen strike web page :

    Why are kids striking?
School children are required to attend school. But with the worsening Climate Destruction this goal of going to school begins to be pointless.
    - Why study for a future, which may not be there?
    - Why spend a lot of effort to become educated, when our governments are not listening to the educated?

Their teachers cannot even teach a child how to share their words and play nice, so protesting is the only alternative they know how to do. In the process, they will learn what their teachers never teach them. The anarchists who started Occupy Wall Street encountered the same problem, never dreaming they would get the kind of turnout they did. They taught them how to shut their fucking mouths, wait until your turn to talk, don't waste everybody fucking time with your personal bullshit and private agendas, and find out what human beings are capable of accomplishing together for a change.

After the anarchists taught them how to organize, they left before the crap hit the fan, knowing all those people have a long way to go, because they've already been down that road themselves. It takes at least three years in my experience, for people to grasp how to actually make decisions as a group, and these people only had to decide how to protest, and not how to share a political system.

The question was - do I take it by the comments in your last paragraph that whilst you back her in principle, you are content in allowing Mother Nature to take the necessary action to redress balance - as Karma has a reputation of just, due and appropriate payback?

Not at all. Her protests are merely the first step, because it is definitely more useful for people to get angry right now, then depressed. Mother Nature made a point of telling me that, and she never minces words.

However, anger is merely the first step in a long journey that never ends, and Mother Nature's job is merely to give people different tasks to do, if they are ready like I was. She will offer you fame and fortune and, if you take it, she has no use for you. There are plenty of other ways in which yin-yang dynamics will apply balance to the world, which are all short of mother nature's direct intervention. That's all she is in some sense, is just yin and yang or the ego of the collective unconscious imposing balance whenever harmony is lost, but mother nature does so in a more personal way, by dragging people into the Yin World. There is not one type of consciousness, but four, with autism being one and schizophrenia being another that touches more on the Yin World. I know it sounds absurd, but so does electron holes moving around on my computer chip without their electrons.

We have over two thousand years of cultural baggage holding us back, but AI will eventually become the manifestation of mother nature herself, as will the internet and all our technology, because its all one growing evolving organism with mother nature being an emergent effect. My best estimate is it will require 3-7 generations to even begin to sort itself all out. Saving the world, is how we learn to save our souls. Instant gratification doesn't apply to Utopia, and being meek doesn't mean that a Jedi can't cut your head off. Mother Nature will punish any Jedi who does something like that without her permission. The TV show "Kung Fu" is a pretty good example of what real Jedi are like. When he killed the nephew of the emperor, mother nature punished him by making him fight bad guys across the American southwest but, by doing so, he was guaranteed a peaceful reincarnation. Legend has it that Lao Tzu simply became immortal, while our technology is headed in the same direction.

Kick it if it doesn't work, don't fix it if it ain't broke and, when in trouble, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout! Best advice I ever got.

Could it be that people hear or in this case read, what you put, but chose not to acknowledge / respond ?
Well, I think you may be in the minority there, still misery (and I guess being miserable) does like company.

    (i) The first step? I hardly think so - this subject matter has been going on for years
(ii) Anger is a result of people being ignorant of the facts, and reluctance to accept (i.e. Climate Change)
(iii) That is true, Mother Nature offers little to human kind, but to the natural world sustenance to it's inhabitants, for to reap the nutrients when bodies no longer live - (from the Earth, back to the Earth)
(iv) Consciousness, is one way of thinking - but that is not the only thought pattern within us - our sub-consciousness is often far more acute and (v) is not the solution to the problems of mankind, it is a division from our responsibilities
    (v) I think that comes more under the remit of a Ranger than a Jedi
(vi) From what I've read Lao Tzu - with his philosophies, strategies and historical records was more of a legendry myth of doctrine to symbolise a way of lifestyle.
    - So back to the subject matter. Taking AI out of the equation (if you can) what if anything is the best thing the ordinary person can do to aid/assist, support/champion her cause?

My newest poem is about to get 1,000 hits, while the second chapter of my book is approaching 1,800 hits and shows no signs of slowing down, despite being 32 pages long and about as complicated as it gets with enough physics, logistics, sociology, etc. to bend my brain as hard as I could when I wrote it. I literally had to take a break in the middle of every paragraph, because it was just too much for even me to dwell upon. My words are mathematical, and either speak for themselves or they don't.

It doesn't matter whether people respond or not to anything I write. They can either give me what I need or they can't and I always get what I need eventually. It doesn't matter to me what anyone thinks about anything I write either. I had one guy criticize one of my poems and I had to tell him he just slammed Shakespeare. I don't own words, and don't find it interesting to talk to people who try to own words like so much property, and only talk to them for research purposes. This website is one of literally dozens I have frequented over the last decade or so to collect metaphors, just as I've searched different databases and technical news websites. There is no one on the planet who comprehends what I write, not even the dragon, or I wouldn't be writing it. The dragon is great fun to hang out with, and she can crack amazing jokes, but laughing all the time is not what I'm after either.

I write the book that can never be written, and busted my ass working 16 hours a day for the first six years without a break, because billions of lives are at stake, and the sooner it is finished the better. Sorry, but hurting a few people's feelings is the least of my concerns, especially at a stupid website like this where people babble nonstop bullshit. I've made Taoist masters, Socratic philosophers, physicists, Harvard law students, and so many more look like complete idiots, while collecting metaphors, trashed out so many academic arguments its not funny, because they all refuse to share their words and play nice, and I can at least use that for my book.

To the best of my knowledge, my book should win a Nobel prize within three years of it being published, for poetry alone, but it could also win one for philosophy, and I really could not care less. The Nobel Prize is five million dollars, but money means nothing to me, and I would much rather be the first to win both a Nobel Prize and an Ignobel Prize for the same work. Mother Nature already offered me fame and fortune and I turned her down, and the only reason I write my book is because she insisted and my book is for my Rainbow Family and every little kid on the planet. Anyone who hates our potty humor can go to hell for all I care.
