What a load of hypocrites her supporters are!

    Look at THIS!:

Greta Thunberg angers residents of Bristol after 30,000 supporters ruin historic College Green | Daily Mail Online

Greta Thunberg angers residents of Bristol after 30,000 of her supporters ruin the city's historic College Green
    • Activist Greta Thunberg slammed after supporters turn green into mud eyesore
    • 30,000 supporters gathered on green to listen to her deliver a rousing speech
    • Bristol's College Green was a sacred historical site throughout the Middle Ages
    • Bristol City Council has supported the money-raising effort to repair the green
Her eco credentials may be beyond reproach. But Greta Thunberg has annoyed the residents of one British city – after crowds of her supporters ruined their historic green.

On Friday, an estimated 30,000 people gathered on Bristol’s College Green – a sacred site throughout the Middle Ages – to listen to the teenage activist deliver a rousing speech about the need to reduce the world’s carbon footprint and save the environment.

‘Not to mention that these children should be at school where they are safe, not encouraged to skip their education.’

However Thunberg’s supporters were quick to spring to her defence with one posting: ‘Grass will grow back. Our ozone layer, icecaps, coral reefs, Australian bush and the Amazon Rainforest will not.’

The teenager has been on a tour of the UK and met Pakistan-born women’s rights activist Malala Yousafzai, 22, the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize winner, in Oxford last week.

  3. Yeah but look at the mess they all leave behind.
    That's what she's on about.

That's the point you haters are missing.

  5. Another thing all of you who hate Greta voted for Brexit or are just so uneducated about what YOU are doing to YOUR own country that it's not funny.
Your own actions are up there with those that don't clean up after their dog has taken a big dump on a footpath.
Your actions are up there when you take a leak in public.
Nobody needs to step in your dog's shit or smell your piss.
Nobody needs to swim in lakes and oceans that contain your cigarette butts you have thrown in the drains that go down to the oceans and lakes.
Nobody needs to pick up after drunks.

    Are you missing the point?
So is she on about the mess her hypocrite supporters have left then?

    I don't get your point?:astonished:

  7. You're missing the point.

The fact is Greta speaks about people who litter all the time.
Those that go to these protests not only miss out on their classes but they make a mess anyway.
So you have protestors that don't listen. Make a big mess and then ask their parents to pick them up from where they are.

Imagine if you made your kids walk to school and back again.
How good is it for them?
It teaches them things that their parents did when they were at school.

When i was living in Mildura which is a warm place than what Ballarat is i had to walk home from school.
My primary school was not far from my place at all. But the walk took forever because of the heat.

These days every parent is picking up their kids from school.
    Make them walk home.

  8. When you have protestors they are the messiest people around.
Cleaners hate cleaning up after them.
But it happens because that's what happens with protestors.
Imagine if you had a job at your local horse racing club.
They have a huge meet on kind of like your Royal Ascot or your Melbourne Cup day.
The following day is the massive clean up.
The amount of mess drunks make when they are at these functions is disgusting.

Now take a look at your own home.
Hoping it's not messy to the extremes of the protestors or even the aftermath of cup day celebrations.
If it is then you really need to practice what you preach at home.
You have a recycling bin put your recyclables in there.
You have a normal bin put the other stuff in there.
You have a green waste bin put your leaves and grass clippings in that.

Then take a look at what you do when you are out on the town.
Don't go taking a leak in public. Use a toilet.
Don't flick your cigarette butts into drains and other things.
    Put them in the bin
Clean up after your dog when it's taken a big dump on a footpath.

Greta, it seems, is the one who is "pissing in the wind". As for those who voted for brexit, perhaps they don't like the global agenda or the way it's being implemented. Either way, they have a right to express their opinion, whether some aussie likes it or not. Nobody asked others to join them in their brexit. Last time I checked, no citizens voted for world government or their agenda. It was done by their self-important and entitled "leaders".
It never ceases to amaze me how many morons act like we live in some kind of star trek universe where everything should be provided by others and nobody has to pay for anything. I think these "green" types should come up with funding for what they want BEFORE trying to ram this moronic crap down everyone else's throats.

Anyway, that's my opinion. Y'all are entitled to yours as well. We are all entitled to ignore each other and move on with our lives.
