What time do you go out for a night out? Usually 1030 for me. Which means I need to get my butt moving, it is 930.
Which translates into $1 beers at 12oz and in this area would help you save back your $6 within 3 beers.
11pm on Friday since that's when I leave work. Thankfully the best spots in town are a 5 minute drive from my job. 10pm on Saturday for the same reason. If it's my day off I try to be arriving at my first stop by 9pm. Get in early and rotate often.
i'm not saying it's a bad deal by any means... it was the $30 cover previously mentioned that threw me... just for the price of getting into those places i could drink 10 beers plus tips at an average bar, or about 15-20 plus tips at my usual haunt... the main reason i don't go to the $6 place more often is because it is about 20 minutes away and i tend to not be fit to drive when i leave there...
it depends on who i'm with. i have friends that work at 7 in the morning, so i go out with them closer to 7 or 8, while other times i don't go out until my ex-coworkers get off at 1 a.m. when it's entirely up to me, i like to get out there between 8 and 9 and stay to close out the bar...
There are clubs that actually have guest lists...? Well, guess you learn something new everyday..clubs have that smell of ball sweat and desperation..But that's just me...
