Guy died from a Lava Lamp explosion!

I suppose they could put a pressure relief valve on those things or a seal that fails at a certain pressure. They have what looks like a bottle cap on the top, but apparently that holds the pressure very well. Bummer.

They do warn you to not use higher wattage bulbs.
