    I hear stories all the time from depressed insecure nerds who have a massive crush on a friend but lack the confidence to say anything and hate themselves for it, start cutting themselves and listenning to depeche mode when a well built larger than life alpha male comes along and starts sleeping with her.

    I might be wrong, just saying.
