Wow, a little paint and someone is sort of gay? I've done it many times. I've always gotten a great response. If there was any comment from anyone, it was from the ladies and they all loved it and said that it looked sexy!
I hear this kind of reasoning more than I would like, and it always bothers me. It isn't hard to understand - human nature favors simplicity over complexity, which is why people get labeled either "gay" or "straight" based on snap judgments of perceived values, instead of seeing that human sexuality is highly complex and very hard to define in such concrete terms (see the various studies of human sexuality, particularly Kinsey). And it's always a bit sad to me how a person's sexuality comes into question when gender lines are pushed, even to a small degree. Even knowing the human propensity to categorize, I still find it unfortunate to read such remarks.
i have never given it much thought. but i wouldnt paint mine as for other dudes, i rly dont care, i might say something smart but thats just cuz im a ass sometimes, and then i would let it die. people look at what your wearing or doing instead of honesty and personality in my oppinion. if your cool to hang out with, thats that.
I could not agree with you more although it dose not stop me I still paint my toes go barefoot and wear toerings no matter what anyone thinks you would think living in so california it would not be a issue but it can specially the barefoot thing I get more crap about going into a establishment barefoot I ask them whats the difference? the bottom of your shoes are dirtier than your feet sometimes I get by sometimes I don't but I refuse to comply no shoes no problem.
there is nothing wrong with men painting their toes, i've done it before, usually metallic green or blue or something like that, i know it mught seem strange to some people but really whats the difference, i think it looks cool.
I wouldn't mind painting my nails, but i expect people would think it was treatment for a fungal infection. They are quite common in the UK because of the combination of damp weather and chronic incurable shoe wearing.
I paint my toenails and have been doing so for about two years. I think that it just makes a persons feet look better. I mainly wear it in the summer when I wear sandlas. I live in Chicago and never had any negative responses as of yet. I do get some stares because it is very uncommon for a man to paint his toes. My wife doesn't mind as long as I dont wear bright pink or red lol. People need to take better care of their feet esspecially when they expose them in public. So I say go for it if it makes you as a person feel better. If others dont like it then they dont have to look.
I agree completely, i usually paint mine a kind of natural color, nothing too outrageous although i have used green or light blue, i think it just looks better.
What He Said....."Nuh"..(no) After Wearing 5 Toerings Now For About 18 Months.....Without So Much As One Nasty Comment (touch wood) ......And The Reciprient Of Many Compliments From Both Male And Female ..... I Have No Desire To Push My Luck Any Further At This Point In Time....... Cheers Glen.
I don't. In fact, I'm one of the few who doesn't find it attractive when females paint their toenails (or fingernails) either. Especially red. Red makes it look like her toes are bleeding--which is a bit off-putting. I've always preferred natural clean nails on girls. And (getting back to the topic) myself too.
Definitely not. Keeping up the paint job would take too much effort for me, not to mention avoiding my skin when I'm painting. I've tried it but never kept my nails painted. It's just too much work.
i do paint my nails from time to time (fingers and toes) i dont get a kick out or anything its just something to do like the last time i painted my toenails was ages ago and i only did it cos i was bored and had nail varnish in the house the last time my fingernails were painted, it was because my girlfriend painted them just cos she felt like it i suppose and like she liked it on me she likes it on a man, so whatever, you know? peace
The only way I'd feel even close to comfortable with painted toenails is to make it part of a Halloween costume.
