once more the post wasnt anti military, i respect the guys that join up, whatever their reasons may be, even if they just need the money i respect that, they are trying to better themselves.... however just because you are "fighting" for my freedom does not give you the right to try and "throw it in my face". different people have different views on freedom. and i have like 800 other bumper stickers, why didnt he single out the "reboot america" or the "capitalism is organized crime" he acted like my sticker was an attack on his manhood or something......

Fuck the politics, fuck whether I agree with this war, these people don't make the decisions. They just fight the wars; they risk their lives for all of us. And for that, you're damn right I'm grateful.

the only way to obtain "peace" is to stop thinking of our souljas as heroes... how can you honestly say you want peace, but than at the same time support the people that make wars possible? If no one would pick up the guns and fight for this peice of shit country, there would be no way we could force our views on third world countries OR go to war with them... they arent risking their lives for us (although they might think they are) they are really just risking their lives for the President and whoever runs the country... If we really want peace, we gotta stop picking up the guns and fighting... Claiming to want peace, and at the same time supporting those that create war, is very hypocritical.
I have friends in the military, one just came back from the navy... they werent doing it do defend anyone, they all only did it for money and an education.
Another one of my friends is in Iraq right now, we think on the same-level... he joined for $$. he realizes he isnt defending anyone in america by killing people in Iraq... he wishes he could go home, but hes got a few more months left... Do i respect him as an individual? Yeah. Do I think hes brave? No.
Just because I may respect few individuals that happen to be in the military, doesnt mean i support the entire Military. It's two different things... just becuase you have a friend in the military doesnt mean you have to support the entire thing... as i've said, if you want peace, you have to destroy the military.


how can you be pro-peace and pro-military at the same time? Sure they arent calling the shots, but without them, there'd be no one to call the shots in the first place.

Supporting the military is the same thing as supporting War, IMO... Damn right im anti-military... a murderer is a murderer is a murderer, i dont give a fuck if they did it for money, or if they did it to "Defend" their friends. They arent brave, they are using the latest technology to massacre Iraqis with pre-vietnam era weaponry... thats not brave... in fact its kind of cowardly.
