Actually, if you read the Old Testament, hell is depicted more as a state of mind, although you could say your state of mind is your path.

 

I prefer nonfiction.

 

thing is, if you're going to be debating/ discussing christianity, it helps to have some familiarity with what it's supposed to be based on.

Whether you believe it or not is a side issue.

Sarcasim is usually a defense mechanism (I know, I have a black belt in "smart ass").

See, thing is, if you want to put christians on the spot, call them on their shit, the most effective way I've found is to familarize yourself with "their" book.

Most atheists I know just call the bible bullshit and leave it alone, which leaves them at a strategic disadvantage..

My opinion is if you're going to be debating christians, whether the bible is bullshit or not is a moot point.

Showing that what they say they beleive isn't actually biblical, or exposing the fact that they themselves haven't bothered to even read it, that takes all the air out of their tires (not that you'll ever get them to admit it, usually they'll just change the subject after you've proven them wrong)

yes, my statement was completely sarcasm intended though obviously there are one or two of you who didn't pick up on that... I do not believe in either god or satan....only the leprechauns that control my mind and every action.

Therefore, me claiming that satan is more mercifull then god is a mostly meaningless statement although as i look around the world today and i pretend that there really is a god..that god does not seem to be too mercifull...kinda seems like an asshole to me.

 

In 1973 at the age of 23 I had an encounter with two demons. Their names were Abjar and Altra. They hated Christ and they did not care for me as well.
After six months a group of Christians prayed for me, and I was delievered from them. It was one of the most intense times of my life. If you think that the Bible is jokeing about such things I would ask you to reconsider. Most people who reject Christ will see first hand that these demons are real. These demons were void of love and only wanted to hurt me. They are waiting for you. Give your life to Christ and they will not be able to touch you. Reject Christ, and they will gladly lead you to Hell, and will be laughing all the way.

As for the Bible, it is the equivalent of a children's Fairy tale book and is not to be interpreted literally.

I reject Jesus Christ, Jehova, God, The Almighty or whatever you want to call it with every ounce of my being, with all my might and strength. I have never seen a demon, heared a demon or believe in Demons, but if I am proven wrong at the end of my days I will still deny any pathetic impotent god and happily skip down the stairs and jump head first into that big ole Lake of Burning Sulphur. Sorry man, but that's bull and you know it, the truth is deep down inside of you hidden amongst your fears and anxieties. There is no god, no 'other plane' or heaven, we are alone floating through the void of space, we will all end up as dust after the sun goes supernova and the earth is incinerated. Billions and billions of years will pass after you die, time will never end and you will no longer exist anywhere. Face it, you are NOT immortal, stop pretending and face the truth. Do it, you will feel so liberated. Drink and have sex, have fun, smoke a bit of ganja and enjoy your life, you only get one chance so make the most of it dude!!
