No one praises Bobby as "the reason of life", whatever that might mean. Like-wise, whoever treats Bobby like some sort of God is probably not too bright.

But he is a musical genius, and a person who taught by example... leading a very inspirational life.

Anyhow, all I'm saying is that the "Fuck Marley" comment makes you look much more like an idiot than the people who worship Bob.

It just baffles me how hate could ever get into a Marley thread out of all things.

Listened to good ol' Bobby all day yesterday, and I felt alllright.

 

there seems to be so many arguments in the threads these past few days

yeah it would be pretty out of line since this thread is in rememberence of him. i mean no1 would really care if you died, we all knew you as some asshole named mr. greenxxx, and go on with our daily lives. so would it be out of line if i said fuck you? not really. but dont go around being an asshole and you wont get treated like one i mean your no jesus either.

 

The ones insulting him are only proving little CHILDREN are ignorant and dont know what they're talking about.

 

marley was great, but the thing that bugs me is stoners that only like him because other stoners like him. i guess that's sort of what green is trying to say. some people don't even know what he's done and just think he was a stoner, so they like his music cause it was most likely inspired by pot. personally i don't enjoy him as much as some of you guys, but i still think he was inspirational.

dude, i have been a regular here for a long time, and allthough i have arguements and sometimes even fights, it is nothing. i have earned respect off of certain people, and surely earned hate from most < but love and hate isnt why im here. im here to discuss and to learn, i acheve both almost daily, and i believe this applies to many others.
i consider myself a contributor, i consider you a noob who reaches for something he cant grab, and will evaporate soon enough.

you see sir rubin? hes a wicked guy, he speaks his mind thats why i still post in this thread. arguements like these make me realise my wrongs and sometimes outcast my rights to learn alot and maybe even change my oppinion for the better and more logical or moral.

i have better'ed myself some many times on here, but im still true to one thing - i still speak my mind, and if im wrong, id like to know why instead of random attempts at me to be humiliated.

honestly i donot give a fuck what most of you people think of me, same goes for the outside world, if i offend you - good. i donot give a fuck about most of youre lives. ofc theres people here (doesnt matter how regular or how old) that i love and deeply respect, most of you know who you are. little bitches like you come and go, these people stick and show something, not just stick with the winning side in arguements like a little wimp.




at this point, i appologise for starting such a thing in a remembarance thread, it was highly disrespectfull of me nomatter who the person was. i just wished to say bob aint the best and never will be < which is more oppinion biased then anything - so sorry to all the decent posters who had to go through this shit.

As do you. You still use "u" and "2". As do I. I'm making fun of the way you are typing!! Hahah. I think mr.green showed some real maturity with his last post, so I just think your comment was unneccesary.

Anways, Bob has some badass shit out there, but I definitely see what mr.green was saying. I mean before I smoked for the first time when I was 13 or 14, I thought that Bob Marley and Tool were like the only enjoyable music to listen to high. In hindsight it was a stupid view, but it was due to the tendencies of stoners to frequently praise the 2 bands. This constant praise whether warranted or not, can be annoying. It never kept me from appreciating their music though, and I still think that Bob Marley put out some great, feel good music.

5-7pm Rice Radio Reggae Music! Oddly enough Ive never heard them play any Bob Marley when I listen, but thats how Rice Radio rolls. O ya, you can listen online too. Right after work on the long drive home I always toke and listen, feel any tension ease away.
