I think this mardi gras was mostly to keep the folks in NOLA's spirits up. Yeah, they could have used to time to continue rebuilding and all, but what can I say... people in Louisiana really like to get down. I keep hearing this same issue over and over.

Hell yeah. I rightly miss them. I haven't had any Kingcake since my dad brought one home from Pensacola when I was little.

I have no king cake here.. Just pecan pie. But I had a nice little Mardi Gras party here.

It's a shame we really don't celebrate it much up in Canada.
