Hi Roamy. The cats say Hi also.They spent most of yesterday and a good bit of today hiding under the neighbor's trailer.Waching thier first monsoon, buckets of rain along with thunder and lightening!

 

My dog, Koa hates thunder... Everybody else doesn't care much, except Erin the crow doesn't like flashing lights (lightening)

 

they probably enjoyed watching it ranger.we hava clothes shop in town called monsoon.now i know what it means.buckets a rain along with thunder an lightning.thanks. must go in tomorrow an ask them why they called it monsoon. its just another name for a storm so.:2thumbsup:

Is the term used mainly for the worst of the rainy season in India, although we use it here in Arizona.

Missy (Moma Cat) came in and spent a good half hour grooming after checking the food dishes. The rest of the tribe ate and crashed.

Tysonwood, is Erin a crow or a raven? We have huge ravens that winter here. There is one spot where I would walk Sai our bir flame point siamese along the base of a high cliff and a raven would tease him into climbing the cliff after him and when Sai would get as high as he could on his leash the raven would either drop rock on him or summon a gang of his pards.

 

Erin is a crow.... A big crow, but not a raven.

There were some Ravens up in the mountains of CA that would tease Koa all day long. It was a game to them, Koa was not amused. I used to feed them every morning, they were there waiting everyday, but never let me get close to them. The second spring they brought their babies to show me...

 

Isle of Palms in Carleston Harbor SC when I was about 10 and those barrier islands have calico cats that have been feral since they jumped ship(s) in the 1600s. My Dad showed me how and I managed to tame two kittens that were born under our deck. A bowl of bait shrimp oj the far side of the deck slowly mofed closer to where I sat untill after a week or two the bowl was in my lap and so were Tiger & Leopard.

Had to skip the fair Sunday- had to regroup, layed around the garden all day- I love our garden- - Sippin lemonade and soaking my feets- -finally got the paint off- -
