When old tiger is finished with his game of bocce ball, and has learned to cuss well enough in Portuguese and in Italian, we can all walk over to the Conservatory. Tyrs is drive the scooter. There is a big pedestrian tunnel under the boulevard that goes right up to the Conservatory. You'll all Love it! It's beautiful. Kenny sends psychic messages to shameless_heifer to come and catch up with us all. You can use one of our many electric scooters like trysonswood is riding around on. We're at the Lawn bowling courts and the tennis courts. Next we'll go check out the "Hall of Flowers" the Conservatory. Afterward We are off to Hippie Hill.
Yeah Fair. I like to walk alone so I can think (or not think), see and hear everything around me and well just.......be Thanks for the coffee guys!
I appear to be one step behind everyone else. I will try and get on the same page....promise! We're going to the conservatory - right?
Thought I might mention that I don't have a microwave. Had one once,a gift, didn't really know what to do with it so it went to the great big useless equipment scrapyard in the sky .
I am here to Testify>>>Goats and Gardens do not mix.. I can say that having raised goats for 20 yrs. and having to replant my Orchard 3 times. We no longer have goats for that reason alone.. them Billies are impossible to keep inna fence. Lynn actually put a ball and chain on one of our Billies. He was a climbing fool... king of the hill.. :/. I have to run out yet again today and come back and do yet more tomatoes. My Energy usage is in the critical zone and the red light is blinking. Well it's time to get ready for my trip.. talk to y'all later.. have a glorious day
See that was my point, about goats and gardens. Like I said, I'm not all that wrapped up and involved with the garden. I eat burgers and steaks. It's nice to have fresh tomatoes and lettuce for my dinner salad but if something happens to the garden, it's not the end of the world to me. Like it would be to at least 7 of my loving room mates here. I'm much more concerned for you guys. Not for me.
Oh, I remember what I wanted to show you. Does that look nice??? etherea It's the wild and icey Pacific Ocean. Surf's UP! The big windmill is right there to the left of the red Spanish tile roofed building in the foreground. The north side. Northwest corner of the park. The Haight-Ashbury neighborhood is right at the far end of the park (East end) running from there to that little dark green hill, straight beyond the end of the park. Not that big hill with the tower on it. The little hill park straight ahead. Left of the big hill with the tower. That's the Haight-Ashbury. We live straight down the middle 2 blocks off of the far end. 3 kilometers. The annual Free Concert is usually here in that big green space in the middle of the park. That is the Polo Field. One year it was in this west end green field. For sense of direction, We are looking East toward Spain. In the distance you can see the mountain range on the east side on the San Francisco Bay. Berkeley to the left and Oakland straight ahead and to the right. The straights that flow from the bay out to the ocean are to your left. It is the Straight that is actually named "The Golden Gate". The name of the bridge is a name in reference to the name of the body of water the it bridges over. "The Golden Gate". "The Golden Gate Bridge" Most people do not know that. Old Tiger, Now you know. Tell your friends.
Yes they are, And this beach is known for it's killer bad rip tide too. Only the real strong swimmers who have been surfing for years go out there. The current on the west coast is from Alaska. Cold. Not may people swim here. Like Polar Bear Club people do there January plunge near Fishermans's Wharf in to the bay, because the ocean is so rough. It is definitely Full Wetsuit water. Thing about big seal lions, shark, and guys in Black Wetsuits. The poor shark don't know the difference between lunch and surfers.
Crossing under the boulevard. Though the tunnel. You see where the tunnel comes out from under the boulevard. Correct? The tennis courts are right on the other side of the boulevard to your left. What do you guys think???
For those of you who live in and around London, they have one of these there. Or possibly a bigger one.
Have you ever heard of Kew Gardens in London Kenny?.We have buildings like this there with rare and exotic species of plants. It's a very beautiful place to visit.
Fairlight, Exactly. I believe that that one is the World's original. Build for a World Trade Fair, I believe. Sme deal. Hot House = Grow tomatoes in the winter. Just joking. LOL
I come to bury niether goats nor gardens, but to call us all back to our very own beautiful unrealty in our magic house. The solution to our little debacle lies near at hand. We merely request of out own sweet Aerianne that she use her magic wand and teach Monsoon to respect the garden and eat only the weeds. PS;And explain to her she must play gently with Kenny.
This is a magical spot. There's no reason that Roamy shouldn't be able to have a magical goat that does not eat what it's not supposed to eat. I welcome Monsoon and I also welcome Roamy's loving heart for adopting stray creatures. That's the Hippie spirit, dear Roamy! No reason to feel badly about loving our non-human brothers and sisters whom we share Mother Earth with. MamaPeace, I hope your date goes well and that you enjoy it! Tyrsonwoods, you must be having some kind of stomach imaging. I remember being told not to eat, drink, or smoke before one of those. Peace and Love to all :sunny:
