Right! I've got some fresh pineapple too! And tons of red wine! I'm gonna put it in this big glass bowl.

No, I'll get that jug off Mama!

Hey YAll , I been checking on this little fledgling thats grounded out in the back yard....its mom is looking out for it up in the trees , but , I dont see any nest , and its going to be dark soon , an we get lots of snakes round here....should I leave it on the ground , bring it inside , or stick it on top of the bushes along the fence an hope it doesnt fall during the night ????

Well they say to leave it alone and let nature take it's course but that could mean a meal for some other animal... Tough call between inside and those bushes. If you do bring it inside it's likely to imprint on you and mom may take off. In which case you now own a bird. What kind is it?

Im honestly not sure of his breed , his mom is shaped like a mockingbird , shes a reddish brown with a white chest with spots on it.....I fed the baby a worm, with mom standing on the ground nearby....I sure hope its going to be ok.

Erzebet, that sounds like a Brown Thrasher. I've never been a bird momma before so I don't know what to tell you. Can you put on some gloves and move it somewhere sheltered like under the bushes? The mom will probably stay with it there and defend it until it's able to move out.

If there is a storm coming you might want to take a small box like a shoebox, cut a small doorway in it, cover it with plastic, place bedding and baby in box, and with mama watching place in a sheltered spot.
