So, there are still pitchers of Sangria covered with saran wrap, just fermenting away... There's leftover food I guess I will take up to the kitchen and refrigerate. Right now, I'm enjoying this garden chaise and a canopy of stars above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDzJRKmG2d8"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDzJRKmG2d8
This music is so soulful. I find myself missing another time...deeply yearning for it. Is it passed or yet to be? I miss it from deep within my soul... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipWhzJ17lSY"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipWhzJ17lSY

Good morning...Hope no one has a hangover from all that Sangria...Sorry I missed the rest of the party...I fell asleep in front of the campfire...
Hey Everyone!! Just wanted to stop by the house and see what you all were into..I didn't have enough sangria's to get a hangover Fairlight...lol I had to do the 3rd shift at work. I only had 2 , but it was just enough to cool me off & put me in a good mood b4 work..lol.. Hope everyone had a good tome at the garden party this evening
Damn the luck, I always miss everything. I am glad that everyone had a good time tho' Things move so fast around here, ppl coming and going, the parties and the talking things over with friends :grouphug: It always makes me smile. I have been running my yard sale again this weekend, 10 hours a day sitting out in this blasting heat wave from beyond hell. We are off the beaten path but have lots of signs up everywhere. Last weekend was a bust, so we put out more and better signs. We didn't get a ton of folks but the ones that did make it, spent money I had some snooty 'vendors' come swooping in like locust. They were looking for gold. They were gonna have it melted down for scrap. I had some fine pieces of gold jewelry but they wanted to give me bottom dollar for it and then destroy the beautiful artistry of the piece. I would not sell it to them. Then they hogged up all the watermelons and even had the gall to take the one another lady wanted. I was busy with another customer and didnt realize what they had done untill it was too late. Greed annoys me. I would have sent them packing just bc of their behavior towards other ppl if I would have known. They kept bragging about themselves as they looked down on us. I did not care for the color of their money. I have raised enough $$ to get my great grand son to Dallas and back a couple of times for his cranial helmet adjustments. I really dont 'need' anything for myself and I am thankful I have the opportunity to have this yard sale. We had a cousin of mine ask us if we wanted to clean out one of her mother's storage buildings. Her mother was a hoarder and had ordered stuff from catalogs since the 70s. She never even opened them, just stuck them away in storage buildings. We cleaned it out and that's what we're having the yard sale with. Hubilicious wont put any of his 'treasures' out to sell, he calls it his 'Empire' I said yeah, you and Fred Sanford. It all looks like junk to me, but as they say, different strokes for different folks I'll be in the yard most all day, I hope there is a cool breeze today. It was 104 yesterday in the shade as the slight breeze we had was like a furnace blast. sorry for the longgg read.. just touching base so you dont forget me  I hope you all feel better from your hangovers and seize the day. lovins sh
Sweet Shameless , I dont think anyone could ever forget you , you were always so kind to me here when other folks were bloodthirsty. I hope you have nothing but goodness surrounding you always.
well,i missed the party, the sangria and the flamenco as well.. I'm convinced that everyone had a time of their life..I bet nothing but smiling faces... because in this house..even if someone is sad...the other housemates brush it away... let me tell you about my day in reality yesterday...i went out by 2 p.m.. and my town was full of Harley riders, all showing off with their bikes, babes, tattoos, it was sunny weather and everybody had a jolly good time.. at about 4 p.m bit of a little disaster, one rider had a crash, fell with his bike and hit 4 other harleys.. parked on the street, with quite some damage done..it was a head tail collision which caused it, the police came..and the hells Angels kept themselves very good.. no violence at all..they were Angels from Belgium,Germany, the Netherlands, the U.K and even Finland,Sweden...after that I went to a few pubs... and came home only at 4 in the morning.. @shameless..yeah,there are always folks who are not honest towards others, don't worry... they will get their bad karma... P.S..anything happening in the house tonight??
Good morning everyone. I'm probably going to sleep soon. Trying to get some work in. I'll be back later to look at the aftermath of last night's party. With everyone sleeping in I should have a nice nap.
Hey Tiger! There is sangria left over! Aeri covered it over with cling film/saran wrap and it should be fine. Shameless, I'm glad you made enough money to sort things out for awhile, it's just a shame you've had to deal with other peoples unpleasant attitudes. My hubby deals in scrap silver and gold as his second income, but he would never behave like that and would never scrap anything that was still beautiful and useable. He also has a garage full of stuff he calls his "treasures" but like you, I think most of it looks like junk. We have some really ancient stuff that I really like, some iron age pottery and some medieval things and some Roman stuff, but the rest I could happily let go if it was up to me.But it keeps him happy! Erzebet, best of luck with your tests I hope everything goes well.
well...thanks crazy and aeri..for the sangria... how nice and thoughtful of you... I found a link about art=paintings which I wanna share with you all... how do you all look upon paintings??do you like?dislike art etc.. I like art and paintings, been a long while now since I went to a museum... shall we make an outing to a good art museum in Frisco?? http://www.mystudios.com/artgallery/
