my company just signed a letter of intent to sell off 2 of the factories we own.
of course one of the ones they are selling is one of the ones i work in...i got a month and a half to wonder what the new owners will be like.

as for having a job...yes the new owners are buying the place because they like everything the way it is. (including the workers) the problem will be that they clearly are only concerned about profit so that can possibly affect benefits (the ones i have are pretty good right now) and our hours (also pretty good) i may not want the job if the new owners mess with those two things to much.
it is a known and respected company in the industry (not like bain) so it looks like things should be ok but you just dont know until they start controlling things.

Relaxed & Focused

I volunteered at a Digger style soup kitchen and I could trance out with a five lb bag of onions in no time flat stoned. That is with no distractions. Breaklng trance under those conditions could be rough on th finger nails. So I quit working the kitchen stoned, but an hour before serving time I became head of security and would get stoned which made it easier to handle the occasional freak out gently.
