All'righty then. Time for me to hit the sack... figure I'll just pass out there in the corner of the studio... Looks inviting enough with it's Indian tapestries, over stuffed pillows, and that incense burner going.

    G'nite all.

That "Anything Room" in the basement is starting to remind me of the "Tryst Tent" at Gathering.

Hi Jack! When you get a chance go here:http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=452119&f=654
and have a look at the house. There are floor plans in that thread too. Pick a room for yourself and let Kenny know which one it is.

Books are the best gift. Try "On the Night you were Born" by Nancy Tillman, or an old stand by like "Goodnight Moon". :sunny:

I would like one of the bedrooms with bay windows facing the back yard (rooms 1, 8, 9?? unless taken. It is hard to keep track).

Or if there is a Carriage house in the back yard, I would like that.

Books last a lot longer into the child's life. They generally last several years before the child out grows them. Glad you like the idea.

I wanted something very special - like a keepsake, but useful. This baby is very special to me. The mother is the sister of my daughter's first boyfriend who died in a motorcycle accident 2 years ago. Their whole family became like a part of our family.

So thank you. This is exactly what I want!!!

In regard to the rooms, you can have any of those you mentioned. Just say which and someone will update the list.

Bedroom #1 would be my first choice.

Thanks Aerianne. I am glad I mentioned books. They really are the best gift for babies and their parents.

I was in Number 7, but if you've fallen in love with it Aerianne, I'll move up to 14 then. It's more or less the same, so doesn't matter much to me. Watch out for those pins on the floor though!!!

Kenny, can you put a chair lift to the upper levels.

Until I get my back fixed I will be limited to the first floor. I'm sure I'm not the only elder with difficulties climbing stairs.

I dont see any good reason why there can't be two room #7s, after all, this house is magical and we are the magicians. That's what's so cool about the house.

I also have trouble with stairs. That is why I asked if there was a Carriage House in the back yard..... That would really be my first choice....

We're physically all falling apart! I have had total replacements of both knees and have arthritus in my feet and hips and back, so stairs are a problem for me as well. I suggest we have an elevator (lift, in the UK). It would be handy for moving in furniture as well, who wants to cart a sofa up three flights of stairs?

Agreed- I can make it to the 2nd- but
any further up , on a consistent basis, and an escalator might have to be installed

You are right about that one. I have had both of my hips replaced. Since then stairs are a struggle but luckily I can walk fine. I also can't stand for long periods of time. Arthritis just about everywhere else. We are lucky this is a virtual house or most of the the elders would want to be on the walk in floor of the building.

    Hi. I'm back.

Yes but you are forgetting that in the magic House everybody has no physical problems if they want it to be that way. Make sense?

And Ab bra ka dab Ra, POOF! There is a front elevator (Lift) and a back elevator, just like that. You pick where. They go from the basement to the attic.

Most folks love the top floors. BTW.

ZAP! there's a carriage house. You got it. (however this is the opposite of living together and comradery. Kind of defeats the whole purpose. Wouldn't it?) But that's ok with me. Ya live in the carriage house. that's cool.

There are stair lifts as well. Even though if you live here you can chose to be 16 again, if you wish.

Did I fix it all. Did I miss something? Help my forgetfulness. OK? THX.

    LOVE
