Old Tiger, I was blind in my left eye untill I had cataract surgery this winter and even though it was more complex surgery bc the cataract was so thick it was easy I just had to keep up the eye drops for a week or so. Good luck Bro...
thanks..etherea,sunfighter and ranger..and bird migration..your words give me confidence in a positive outcome.. even..I'm death scared of operationsshiver me timbers(ahah) I can still see enough..but sometimes in a blurred vision..typical cataract symptoms.. I'll keep you folks informed...have to go for further tests on 21st May.. and on 26th June..the operation itself..under local anaesthesia
My employer is offering counseling today for anyone who needs it after yesterday's Marathon. I need it, but I'm going to suck it up, stiff upper lip ...
Hmm? again i went to try to say hello to everyone here, one again I think this is a wonderful idea for people to come together, really want a family of friends I can fellowship with, to learn new things. My goal is to join a commune somewhere but I want it to be the right time, and place for me. So this will get me kinda of an idea of what it be like. Hopefully.
I'm new here and one of my main reasons for joining was to get some great friends and learn more about this lifestyle and the rainbow family. I would also love to live on a commune someday. The idea of everyone working together in perfect harmony and sharing beautiful love and peace sounds wonderful. I read your "about me" and we are very similar.
For all you Canadians out there..if you are anything like me you are getting excited about summer and our music festivals. The first one for me is Come Together Music Fest that happens on the May 24 weekend. Just a small jam band 3 day festival of awesomeness! It takes place at a mock up ghost town. The best part is always the saloon where the band plays all night and the floor bounces from all the dancing. Our camp always brings a little Burning Man spirit. Have any of you heard of it?
I wana put some djembé rhythm in this thread...:mickey: who's gonna join me in a crazy dance(ahah)?? we should BLOW some spirit in this house... after all..this house is meant to feel togetherness...and joy..:2thumbsup: where are all my housemates here?? wait..I'll come and knock on every door(uhuh) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTSvIYuFkEE"]MAMADY KEITA "TIRIBA" - YouTube
Went to Donley's Pub in Watertown, MA, last nite. The place was just buzzing with people's experiences during the lockdown and manhunt. It's easy to imagine a movie being made of events this past week in Boston and Watertown.
Hi Tiger, I've been away from the happy house for a bit.. just saw your post.. You'll be fine. My sister had these ops, & her vision is better than it was for yrs. She even drives without the need of her glasses.. good luck..
Thanks mvmcd...I know..I've talked to quite a number of folks who had the same cataract operation done...and they all told me...it's no problem at all...so..I better believe them,is it not??the fact with me is I easily build up a stress situation specially what hospitals, operation tables are concerned..am I mad??maybe i'll see BETTER afterwards... let's think in a positive way...and let's keep on smiling...(ahah)yes...:daisy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQAJ5UiGsLY"]James Lloyd Keep on smiling - YouTube
OK, so I've had a glaucoma operation, two cataract operations, and three detached retina operations including a vitrectomy. And you know what? I've just had my vision tested and it's 20/20. I've never had better vision.
Just got back home..I was doing volunteer yard work outside but my allergies hit me real hard so I had to return early. Gonna take some nettle and a shower..hoope to find some chill people here. Peace & love
