Yeah, I remember Shawn Phillips. Taurus Debbie slept with him, after a concert, back in '72, before she thumbed to the Haight-Ashbury, and jumped me, in the crashpad. (The basement of the house that this happy hippie house is modeled after.)

hi kenny.. as I never visited usa I knew nothing of who jumped who, but I'm glad it got you writing in happy house! There was some music I wasn't a huge fan of at the time, but it was being played all the time & now I love it all.. the fond memories it evokes.. we lived in a little house with no near neighbours, & as the hippie fraternity was very small in ireland we all knew each other, & if one person came to visit a whole drove came too.. the locals were bemused as these colourful people were seen arriving, seen leaving some days later, but why werent we seen out & about? We were tripping in the fields by day & stoooned & listening to music til the small hours, but too far away to be heard by anyone.. oh happy days!!

 

I know well who she is but that would be telling. lol When they stopped by the Down Home Nasty house my ex wife grabbed Kenny and drug him off to her den of iniquity and the vixen in question invited me to come see her van and share a bottle that took a couple of years to finish.:2thumbsup: She comes here on occasion and was a life saver when Rita had her stroke in that my phone was out and I reached her via Facebook and had her call Kenny we all are still friends and in touch thanks to Shameless & Hip Forums.

Old Tiger, the world isn't all that materialistic and egocentric as demonstrated by how folks rallied to our aid when Rita had her stroke this past Monday leaving her in hospital and me alone here on oxygen. I managed to get word out via Shameless_hefer's Good Earth forum and folks rallied to our aid including but not only, Kenny and from a thousand miles and 40+ years away Sag who is here now. The spirit lives!

All your efforts to keep the home fires burning have paid off.. lovely to hear ranger & kenny have fond memories & are still friends with those funloving girls.. I'm glad that mark (who is, I gather sag. nasty) made the journey.. is it really 40 yrs since you last met? wow.. as ranger said tiger, the spirit lives, & long may it live.. hugs to all..

I was born & raised in southern ireland (grew up on a farm) but have lived in uk for many years.. I saw a post on fb from rita.. she's doing very well..
