oh kenny no.. give us a little bit of time & patience.. you're a gifted writer, & some of us struggle to get thoughts onto the screen.. I had been thinking about the 6 degrees of seperation thing, & I often find it's only 1. Roamy mentioned being a friend of mary coughlan's sister, & I attended one of her concerts.. so only 1. I also remember Mary (shameless heifer) saying she attended van morrison concerts way back.. I lived in the same town (bath, somerset) as him for yrs & often walked past him on the street, again only 1. Loose connections, but it happens all the time.. it's my bedtime now, & when it's bedtime in your time zone I hope this will send you off peacefully..

I agree with you,Ranger...but the non materialistic and non egoistic you mention belong to YOUR group...and in there folks care for you as if it was their own famiily..and that's a great and noble feeling..but...in my posting I was referring more to a worldwide opinion of not caring and being selfish...that's a fact as well..it's like a knife with 2 edges..one is sharp,the other one is blunt...

I know, it's been a long while since I have been in. But I believe you know why.

Life leads us on one journey after another. Teaching us things we need to know to get to the next level

I think the hippies jump time a little and bounced up a couple of levels in the process. Absolutely drug induced.

You say Emiel, that the non material/non ego is only in our church forum. If this is true, I am sadden by the news and cry for the ppl. But you are right I think too.

I stay in our church mostly, bc my contributions to the other forums are unwelcome and I set myself up to be ridiculed and chastised from the forum bullies. They do not hear our message. They are not here to learn, they are not here to grow.

When I saw it happening here, I moved out. Ego reared it's ugly head and the meaness started seeping in.

Most could not see it, feel it bc they were not listening or watching from their hearts, they were busy making small talk. Small talk is fine, nothing wrong with it at all.

The Haight Street Hippies were a different breed. We were like the soldiers fighting a war, but our war was against the plastic fantastic Machine. The corporate control over ppls lives. It was about keeping our rights and liberties as the constitution defines. It still is.

I think Kenny was expecting a deeper conversation line that baking cookies. You must understand Kenny is an artist and see everything with an artist's eye and maybe a bit eccentric, but our Kenny has the biggest heart that a man could hold in his chest.

Kenny built this room to bring ppl together, to build a community for ppl to share thoughts and be there for one another.

But in life, there is diversity in thinking patterns. Not everyone sees things in the same dimensional analysis chart. We have all experienced an array of circumstance that we learn and grow from, each is unique in their own lesson.

We take what we need and leave the rest. We share what we take and keep going. It's all give and take, we get what we give. The more we give the more we receive.

We all have our own agenda. The trick is to not to inflict, shove down throats or get above your raising when manifesting what you desire.

I think it would be likened to being a TEAM Player as to how to go about manifesting things in your life. You shouldn't steel the ball from a team mate to make yourself important. hat is Ego.

Ppl disagree, it's ok to disagree to an extent, but most disagreements are just miscommunication and closed minds. Stubborn and unyielding. We have to remember that none of us are infallible and that anything is possible, the Universe is very complex and we are but a tiny part of it.
