It has two of my favourite persons in the world in it: Alanis Morissette and Alan Rickman. Chris Rock and Jay & Silent Bob are also very charming to watch. Can't complain with such a cast, can I? :D

Dogma was cool although I had to watch it twice because the first time (for some reason) I got confused... great movie though.

I fucking loved Dogma, oh wait, I still do. Dogma is a pretty intreasting movie when it comes to talking about religion, this coming from a cathloic. Some of it sounds questionable but some also sounds damn right out understandable, but seriously it's a subject that is way to complex to be able to stick to one story.

Anyways, Here is two of my fav. parts in the movie.

Jay: You can't walk away from us. I loved you, we loved you ( points at Silent Bob). Men Dont just fall out of the sky you know!!!
*Rufus falls out of the sky butt ass naked*
Jay: Beautiful naked big tittied woman just dont fall out of the sky you know!!!
    * of course nothing happens* LOL!!!

    and the second one:
Jay: ( talking to rufus) Tell me something about me!
Rufus: You masterbate more then anybody
Jay: I know that! Tell me something I dont know!
Rufus: When your doing it your thinking about guys!
    *Silent Bob looks shocked*
Jay: (talking to silent bob) Dude, not all the time!!

I love that movie so much. Anything Jay and Silent Bob is great, but I love the religious themes in Dogma (I'm a somewhat devout Methodist. We don't have a problem with anyone, so it's pretty cool). I wish Alan Rickman would wake me up in the middle of the night.

I thought it was a good movie. Some of the comedy is a little slapstick, so some people may not like it, but I love how Kevin Smith's movies are laced with underlying messages.

Dogma's my favorite Kevin Smith movie. I thought all of his movies deserved better than they grossed at the box office... well, okay, maybe not Mallrats... but Dogma is the top. Then I guess it helps that I was raised Catholic early in life. And you gotta love a man with the balls to name his daughter after a comic book villainess.

And Dogma has the distinction of having one of my all-time favorite lines...

Metatron (played by Alan Rickman) after having his divine fire sprayed with a fire extinguisher: "Jesus Christ! Do you go around dousing every man who comes into your bedroom with fire retardant chemicals? It's no wonder you're single!"

Dogma is a hysterically funny and thoughtful movie. I don't remember ever saying that about any other movie.

Yeah, Dogma and Clerks are my favourites of Kevin Smith. Jay & Silent Bob strikes back is also funny.

I reckon dogma is on a different level and category to the other Jay and Silent Bob films, and so cannot be compared. It seems to drag on a bit for my liking, but nevertheless it's still funny. Not my favourite out of the all (Mallrats probably is) but it's not a bad film either.
My favourite part has gotta be when they're having a smoke and alan rickman transports them to that expensive ballroom and Jay's like "am i trippin?" thinking the weed did that to him. lol,
Clerks 2 next week, you knows it.
