when I was in primary school, we would have a teddies/soft toy picnic day every year. I I think wellington (my original home town) council puts on one for kids in geberal as part of the Summer City programme - its a day with live music etc.. and kids bring their parents, a picnic and a teddy and they all go to eat lunch in the Botanical Gardens. It was fun.
My old friend Lisa and I were seven years old and our birthdays are both on the third of November, so I was getting all excited and stuff, but she was a Jehovah's Witness and apparently her parents would get really angry at her for talking about her birthday or something, so instead of a party she had a teddy bear's picnic, and a whole lot of us went to the park with teddy bears. It was kinda fun...
Were they on Kodiak Island? Or somewhere close in the Aleutians? Soulrebel, it's a Jerry Garcia/David Grisman song on the album "Not For Kids Only," in case you're still confused...somebody posted the lyrics in the second post even. But everyone seems to be taking it in their own direction anyway.
This happened to my family too kind of, but it was two grizzlies and we were at a campsite out somewhere, they just destroyed EVERYTHING, our tent and the two people who had campsites around ours. If it happened to you in the places SunFree said, then it was most likely a Kodiak....those things are fucking huge and they seem really mean but that just might be what people say of them...oh and thanks for the info SunFree, ill be sure to download it
