No you shoudnlt have guilt you right... but your stupid if you think animals have any less of a soul than humans do.. we are animals.. get a book on evolution. Also there is no wrong and right in what we eat.. sure we've evolved to eat meat but that doesn't mean we are supposed to..

By souls what do you mean? Everything has conciousness... animals obviously think just as humans think... they mite not be as intelligent but they are not objects.. like a rock.

 

i hate that "animals have no souls" thing. i'm not even sure half the time that people have higher consciousness.

and, edby, saying that "we've evolved to eat meat but aren't necessarily supposed to" is one of the more self-contradictory statements i've ever heard. and i've made PLENTY of them. we evolved thumbs, but that doesn't mean we're supposed to use them.

 

not really... i basicaly said that if somthing is there doesn't mean it must be used for something.. if someone feels like eating only vegies then it doesnt mean there not doing what there supposed to do...

We have evolved to an inteligence where we can make atomic bombs... so that means we should drop them? no... just because we have evolved to have stomaches that can digest meat doesnt mean that we were given them for that reason.. it just so happens that we can eat meat so we/people do.

right, but then there are people like that retarded kid who joke about killing animals and putting them on a veggetarians porch. My time here on the forum has shown me that the meat eating fucksticks can equal or exceed the annoyance level of the veggie militia

The conversation is kinda dying... but chicken eggs are a chickens period... (i think?) so your not killing anything.. or stopping a chick being born.

 

what i love is when the elk move into soy and alfalfa fields and start trashing the place. then the state grants the farmer a certain number of depredation tags. this would include elk, deer, rabbits and other varmints. and OMG, does that meat ever taste wonderful. not that people require a whole lot of meat, people eat way too much. but i believe whole heartedly that having the NATURAL assets means your species needed them.
