It's all about humor no matter who you're dealing with in my experience. Making friends, getting laid, it's all about taking a joke and making a joke. Sometimes interestingly enough the former is more important. No one wants to deal with someone who takes themselves too seriously, amirite?

 

That holds some truth indeed. I rarely experience this thing called awkward silences for example, unless the new person I'm conversing with can't take a joke

 

I agree, I guess humor is a great ice breaker and laughter can make people more comfortable


I just realized my "Get a women to laugh, and you can get her to do anything" comment might come off as cocky or insincere if I was a guy saying this, just wanted to clarify that I'm a chick..

 

Also realized I havn't commented on helena bonham carter. I think she's a unique and interesting actress. I also do find her attractive. Not as the Red Queen though.

That is a great picture nevertheless. I guess the art is to just not project things on that person that we don't know for sure (e.g. things people read in the media and stuff).
