haha i saw that too. I was like, maybe i should go to the old hips. after all, Im almost at the ripe old age of 17
hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ur sooooooo welcomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee''woodstock69'' have fun here peace!!!
lol i have never seen the woodstock dvd, wouldnt mind seein it lol this guy obviously dont kno wat he tlkin bout lets just back away quickly and quietly!!
i love woodstock. did you take any of the bad acid? how close to the stage did you get? favorite performance? (Jimi Hendrix was amazing; possible best performance of his life)
i beg to differ, i thought jimi , although brilliant, was a bit stale at woodstock...or from wat i can gather from the dvd anyway! i thought janis joplin was far better and at least she didnt walk off stage....because it wasnt "coming together" !! lol. csn were pretty darn gd as well i might add. i love suite; judy blue eyes its a favourite.
You should check out Live at Woodstock, it was released in 1994, it's a two disc set of what Hendrix and his band played at the festival. The band had only been together for a few months (weeks possibly? i dont remember), but it surely wasnt the original Experience, since they had spilt up before Woodstock. That's probably why the band as a whole was somewhat loose and unorganized (and why the drummer and bassist couldn't keep up with Jimi!), but Hendrix was awesome there! All of Jimi's live stuff was simply amazing... you prolly just dont appreciate it as much as I do
yes i know it was very great and i must always see the film of woodstock . it was great to see all this people and all this groups like the Who or Jimi Hendrix
hey im not one to dis jimi here, but you hav to admit that it wasnt one of his most animated and aww stiking performances! ill check out the woodstock live but im not sure it'll be all thatdifferent.....
That's not really true.... Jimi kicked ass, he should've just gone solo. Because the band only practiced once or twice, they played mostly long jams, and that's where Jimi became a freakin' god, imo. I'm not a big fan of Janis Joplin much at all, but her woodstock performance I do like... More than Jimi, I think Country Joe and Arlo Guthrie are my favorites.
now they WERE good!!!! im just a huge fan of janis...so im prob really quite biased...but i stand by my conviction that she was truly awsome at woodstock! the atmosphere was just so relaxed but buzzing at the same time...well you cant say she didnt hav stage presence!
