Weird. I still get the sense that she is alive...
Maybe she was just scared and threatened by someone and they said they would kill her if she ever told anyone about the incident?
She started a new life. I picked up Mississippi actually. Then I just googled the case, did she turn up missing in michigan?? Well they're both M states and I could see how I could easily pick up Mississippi instead of Michigan..

 

If she has indeed sadly passed away though, then maybe she is in limbo and isn't aware she's dead? Because I still get a sense of life from her..

Good luck, I hope you can put this case to rest and the lady in question is at peace dead or alive - I am not familiar with the story although I sense it is not cut and dried. May you reach closure either way :daisy:
